I was a little skeptical, once I received the sand bags, I was extremely satisfied. They are tightly woven and heavy duty as advertised. The fact that the cinch at the top is already integrated is a huge plus. The intended use is as replacement bags for the sand sausages you buy to add weight for winter months etc. I looked for longer sizes to accommodate the 70# size I had but after receiving these it will make it more manageable and better weight distribution. I use them for weight in the back of my pickup and as traction weight on my atv for plowing snow. If I were to use them for the intended purpose of sand bag water diverting or erosion control I would be equally satisfied. Thanks Intock.

These heavy duty sandbags were just what we needed, we ordered them really last minute before Hurricane Dorian arrived, hoping to avoid wrestling the crowds at the hardware stores. They were shipped and received extremely fast, in plenty of time before the storm- filled them over the weekend, they worked perfectly and are much better than the grocery bags we used for Hurricane Irma :) - will positively shop again- thank you!

Disclaimer: I did not use these as sandbags. That being said, they seem very sturdy and well made. I have been using these bags primarily for storing seed that I collect at my job, and they hold up very well to pointy stems and sharp plant bits. My only concern is that they are not as breathable as normal grain storage bags, which could be problematic if excess moisture exists in the bag contents. Water can penetrate the sidewalls, but only when forced through. This would seem to be a useful characteristic when using these for their intended purpose, however. The bag tie that comes with each bag doesn't seem to work very well, but overall I am satisfied with these bags for the price I paid.

Wanted these primarily to fill with sand for weight in the back of my pickup truck for winter driving. Also if stuck and need an abrasive for traction, i can just empty a bag or 2. They really seem to fit the bill at a great price. Did not weigh them but I would suspect the ones I did fill up pretty good were at least 50 pounds. Glad i went with this bag and with this vendor as shipping was fast!

**** update**** at 100 days now largely deteriorated. Will have to be shoveled up since they're completely rotten. Nice sturdy bags with good ties. I filled with pointed shovel 4 scoops, would hold 6 or more scoops. The ties are great but a little slick hard to tighten down but holding so far. Ties are pre installed which is nice.

I have not used the bags as of yet. However the military grade bags I acquired from Sheriff's Department years ago have held-up very well for repeated use,... these appear to be the same,... HARD TO FIND PRODUCT,... as I have searched in past years. As to the vendor of this product, the bags are priced reasonably with very prompt shipping. for those of us on the Gulf Coast of Florida,... the hurricane (Laura) slipped past us this time nonetheless having a vendor that is aware and responsive is much appreciated.

These bags are a long way from being military grade. I purchase these bags on August 27, 2019. Filled them with good quality sand. I lined them in front of my garage door. Have been having a problem with water coming under the door during heavy rains. I picked one of the bags up yesterday to move to another location. The whole bag ripped and sand spilled out every where. We are talking about four months. That was not even through the hot days of summer in South Carolina. They are made of the same material as those cheep green tarps, that will also last about four moths. These bags are a piece of trash. I always wait for a good period of time before even thinking about writing a review.

The sandbags are well a well made product. The fabric is sturdy and the stitching appears strong and uniform. As sandbags go, these look to be the best I have seen and these will be the ones I will use the next time I need more. Not much more to say since this is a review of a sandbag, not a review of some highly technical device.
