Works great for my Well Just what i needed.

Used to isolate my water pressure booster, seems solid, no leaks.

If you have decent flow to ram pump (4gpm), and 3ft of head, this is a great check valve for you. It is well built with smooth insides to help prevent mineral accumulation. Threads are true NPT. And the price is very good (less than 15 dollars for 1 inch brass check valve.)If you have low input flow, this valve might be too heavy for your ram pump.

Solid construction, well-machined, priced right. Works as described/expected. My application is in a low pressure hydronic loop to prevent backflow.

If I could leave zero stars I would. A check valve that doesn’t seal or prevent back flow at all. My irrigation pump loses prime immediately once it’s shut off causing the pump to lose prime in less than a minute. Completely useless hunk of brass. I should have known better, it has no seal between the valve mating surfaces, just brass on brass.

I needed this to repair an issue with my rural well. The old valve was leaking and a replacement was not available at the Blue or Orange stores locally.The casting/machining and threads are very clean. The valve works properly and I have no concerns about it's longevity... Great price too!

Got it installed and working as it should. Great value for price.
