We got this for our son's birthday party and it was a hit. The box it came in works great to store it. The wheel isn't very big and we recommend putting a little grease on it to make it spin better, but otherwise it's a great set. We've had countless hours of fun playing as a family.

That the two balls for the roulette wheel were very small, lost one.

I haven't figured out how to use this game yet but the first thing I noticed is the sturdy wood material that this game is made of. It looks like it was well built and can handle some dings and drops. Mom gets bored with her coloring books and word puzzles, so this game will be another great addition to her daily activities. I try to find as many books, gadgets and puzzles to help her exercise her brain cells that have been affected by dementia.

This Tyrolean Roulette is a great game, the board and other parts are smooth, well made and painted, but … everything is just too small. I got it in the first place because I thought that it would be perfect to bring to school and have my middle-schoolers do quick mental adding and subtracting, or that they could practice using the calculator. These are the reasons why they are not much interested:- Adding and subtracting mentally was too hard because of the numbers below the colored hollows.- When using the calculator, it was difficult for them to alternate the plus and the minus. They would end up having to recalculate.- Some found it difficult to spin the top, and they ended up giving up frustrated in the middle of the game.What I don’t like: IT’S WAY TOO SMALL, the board itself, the wooden balls which are about ½ inch. This might be why they provide extras, in case they get lost. Also the corner pockets are too small to take any balls out. One can only get them out of the corner pockets by pushing them through the hole they went in, that is if your finger fits in the pockets.I will give it another try to play with those students who like the math challenge. I can see how it’s more suitable for adults, yet I do recommend getting it on a bigger scale.

Good for entertaining kids at a birthday party as one activity. It is small and affordable so if pieces get lost or break from abuse, its not that much of an issue.
