Jurassic World Pteranodon Chase 75926 Building Kit (126 Pieces)

I bought this for my daughter's friend's birthday. He's 8yrs old, and loves dinosaurs and Legos. This is perfect and has a little bit of everything. The big dinosaur, vehicle, 2 figures, and accessories has a lot of playability, and it's in a decent sized box, which was great for gifting alone. I hope my pictures help give you an idea of what to expect in person if you're looking as a gift. GENERAL TIP: Remember not to open all the included bags at one time. Lego separates the pieces into separate, usually numbered bags so that you can put each part or section together and know when it's complete. Like the dinosaur in this set, for example. Then you can move onto the next bag of pieces. That way you don't have a pile that's harder to find what you're looking for in, and possibly missing pieces along the way as you're building. I only mention this because when we first got our daughter's started with Legos, they would rip open the box and all the bags before we knew it, and it would make it more difficult for them to build themselves without getting frustrated or needing more help.

This was a Christmas gift for my grandson, 4-1/2 years old, and he just loved it! He is quite good at assembling the Lego sets, even at his age. He loves Legos and he loves dinosaurs, so this was a perfect present for him.

My son loves the LEGO Jurassic World collection. It was fun for him and his friends to put together and play with. It is LEGO, so it is durable. Arrived when promised.

This is a solid LEGO set. The entire lineup of LEGO Jurassic World sets is fairly solid... consider me a fan. This particular set, though small, provides a high level of playability. The level of action that can be squeezed out of a particular LEGO set is a big part of my review rating. The Pteranodon with this set is the same mold as the previous 2015 LEGO Jurassic World sets, however, the coloring is new. The actual dinosaur itself is high quality and features a wide-range of articulation with the wings and the mouth. It's actually quite impressive considering it's made of plastic. The Jurassic World vehicle that comes with this set is ready to hit the rough roads. The vehicle features the larger LEGO tires and the vehicle itself sits rather high off the ground. There's a nice sticker on the hood and there's a nice compartment on the back to hold a dinosaur egg (one is included in the set). The vehicle also comes with a net shooter, which is a fairly new LEGO design over the past year or so. I like the net, but if I'm being honest, it's rather difficult to use and probably works better in theory than in actual practice. Overall, the vehicle is nice and goes well with the set. The two minifigs are pretty average for a set this size. Owen is the same minifig as featured in several of the other Jurassic World LEGO sets, and the 'tracker' minifig is standard issue with nothing special about her features. I will give LEGO credit that she is a female... I like when LEGO is able to balance out the male/female minifig ratios. Are Legos and everyone knows that everything Legos is expensive for some stupid reason because adult babies can't get over their whole collectible fad oh, I buy like I was for my kid period. He's into everything Jurassic Park and really really enjoyed this kit.
