For the price I expected less. It a great little lightsaber. The lights and sounds are really good. My husband and daughter had a lightsaber fight as soon as it was opened.

It came with batteries installed and ready to go. The light was brite enough and the sounds were fun. It makes a humming sound while you are holding it and clashing sound when it strikes an object. Since it's plastic I wouldn't recommend a lot of hitting it against solid objects, but it did make my grandson a very Happy Jedi!

Good for a costume but not long lasting

For the money, this was a wise purchase for my Obi-wan Kenobi costume. For starters, it fully retracts within the hilt for a more realistic appearance and it also has decent sound effects while it's idling and when it strikes something. I installed a covertec wheel on it to attach to a covertec belt clip on my costume's belt

My son loved his brother so much we had to buy a second one so they can battle. Comes with batteries so it’s ready to light up and make fun noises. They love them!!

I bought 2 of these. One blue and one red. And actually sent the blue one back because if broke so easily. Got a replacement for that and it broke. Now the red one broke and they haven't even had them for a full month. Not worth it.
