Smooth Peanut Butter

Great value if you use a lot of peanut butter. If you get through a lot of peanut butter, this big tub is a must. It works out cheaper and is more convenient in the long run. As with most natural peanut butters, the oil sits on top, so make sure you give it a really good stir at the start. It’s quite thick before mixing, so a strong knife helps. Once stirred, it’s lovely and smooth. Towards the end, if it gets a bit dry, I just add a teaspoon of olive oil to loosen it up and it mixes back in perfectly. I love that there’s no added sugar — it feels like a healthier option. It’s quite runny once mixed, which I like. I use a teaspoon to spoon it onto toast to avoid mess and waste. I also put a freezer bag over the tub to keep the cupboard clean — sounds like effort, but it’s a one-and-done job. Spreads beautifully and tastes great. Very easy to eat straight off the spoon too.

I love this peanut butter! I try to avoid sugar so this is ideal. It has great texture and just enough saltiness. It can be difficult to stir due to the naturally occurring oil sitting at the top, but I have found that if you leave it upside down before opening for several hours (preferably until the next day) then it will be much easier to mix.

Good quality and great tasting peanut butter. No junk additives or oils etc only peanuts. Eat this by the spoon full. Love this in celery and with apple. Needs a stir, but all good peanut butter does. Would have 5 stars but have had too many arrive damaged with the lid having popped off. An issue shared by maker, Amazon packaging and delivery.

Really love this peanut butter, I started using it when it was on offer at my local supermarket but when the offer finished I couldn't justify the price as I was getting through so much of it. I was a bit apprehensive about getting the 1kg tub from Amazon with so many 1 star reviews regarding burst packaging etc but bit the bullet and ordered 2 tubs, unfortunately they didn't arrive due to damage in transit, got an automatic refund with no problem so ordered again and they arrived ok. The butter is a bit looser than most peanut butters when warm but it's fine when it's been in the fridge for a while, it is spreadable and is perfect for smoothies or adding to porridge etc. It does separate a bit and may need a good stirring before first use, if your getting it on regular basis I would highly recommend getting a THICK ROUND SPURTLE available on Amazon pretty cheaply, not one of the American designed flat ones that are often called Spurtles but won't work as well, it's basically a thick wooden stick narrow at one end thick at the other originally used in Scotland for stirring porridge but I've found works perfectly for mixing my peanut butter, as well as other uses! And is easier to clean than a spoon.

I can't recommend this 😕 Initially it looked good, that lasted until I opened the tub - it seems to have separated while being stored (on its side), half of it like liquid, half of it dense and dry like a lumpy, peanutty mash. Stirring it doesn't really work, as the more solid part really doesn't like moving and as such is incredibly hard to spread on toast. Maybe it'll mix well into baking (with an electric mixer!) Shame as it tastes really good, moving back to whole earth though

The peanut butter itself is fine, though you will need to try and mix it (as usually the oil and peanut butter has separated, leaving a solid mass of peanuts with a ton of oil on top). Mixing this can be quite difficult, you will need something very strong to mix it with but also need to be careful as you don't want to damage the container (which is fairly flimsy). The main problem is receiving the tub in one piece, the way Amazon packages items doesn't protect them at all and in fact often gives so much room for the item to roll about in the outer box that the container inside cracks! Leaving oil and peanut butter everywhere. Last one I ordered was badly cracked, the replacement also didn't make it in one piece (though slightly less damaged). Very frustrating.

I love this brand of peanut butter, no unwanted additives and amazing value for money. I buy a LOT of it being keto-ish, and have found over time it varies in consistency sometimes —but it’s usually well mixed and runny thick. Im actually a crunchy peanut butter lover but I’m wearing invisible braces at the moment and have to brush my teeth a bazillion times a day so the bits from the crunchy version became an annoyance so I switched. The crunchy comes split or oily and you need to mix it however this smooth one is more mixed through, you may still have to stir up the thicker bit at the bottom. I love that it has sea salt in, why anyone or company would use table salt is beyond me. Well done Pip! Tasty on pancakes with sugar free jam and in low carb sweet treats. (I have had it arrive damaged in the past but that is no reflection on the product which was actually well packed— and Amazon replaced or refunded).
