But honestly, even with the basic tool, I could have done the whole thing just fine. The instructions were so simple that I kept second guessing myself, thinking there had to be more steps. But there were not. It really was just that easy. Even the package itself was lightweight. When I picked it up from my apartment’s leasing office, I expected to need help getting it into my cart. But I realized I could have carried it myself if I needed to. I did not, of course, but still, the fact that I could says a lot. If you are someone who lives alone or deals with any kind of physical or mental fatigue like I do, you really can build this yourself without any stress. Sturdiness and Stability The chair feels solid and well made. I keep it in a smaller space and tend to swivel around a lot, even bumping into things. This chair stays in place and holds its ground. No wobble, no creaking, and it never feels flimsy. It genuinely feels like something that will last a long time. Cushion Comfort The main cushion is thick and supportive, which really surprised me. I use a footstool since my feet do not really touch the floor, but average height people probably would not need one. I was ready to return it at the first sign of trouble, but it turned out to be one of the best Amazon furniture experiences I have ever had. I wanted a reading chair for my small porch, and my dog is spoiled so I needed something big enough for her to sit in with me. I love the way this looks, and the fact that it swivels helps in my small space. I can turn and have a conversation with someone or turn and face the yard. It’s pretty comfortable, although egg chairs aren’t great lounge chairs because of the shape. It was a bit of a pain to assemble, but seemed sturdy once built. For what I paid, I’m very happy with it.

Love the egg chair!!! It’s super cute, great size, and perfect for my living room. Love the swivel aspect of it too because I can still turn and talk to family without moving the chair. The one con is if you lean further back your head will hit the back, but it was easy fix. Just buy a neck pillow for support.

Great product easy to put together but it took about 3 hours doing it by myself, must difficult to do was installing the swivel base by myself but once done the chair works beautiful & very confortable

Unravels a bit. Plastic type fake “wicker.” I was missing some pieces and messaged seller. They sent them right away. I put it together by myself with a bit of struggle. But wasn’t too bad. Worse part is trying to hold the pieces together and use to hands to tighten screws (bolts?) The pillows are firm, not too stuffed, but a good firmness, i could tell it’s pretty good quality. They fit the chair great. It does rotate easily so careful moving it around. Build it near where you plan to place it or have a buddy help you. Easy to wipe down. I have a 3 year old and constantly putting grubby fingers on everything. The black helps a lot and easy to wash. The screw covers only fit if you dont screw in too tight. That and the slightly unraveling “wicker” is why it’s not 4 stars. Getting them on and off to adjust is a pain, and then they randomly fall off. One of the “wicker” edges sliced the tip of my finger during construction (not assembly, it wasn’t a simple job, but doable), luckily its at the very top of the chair and i filed it down with a metal file after the fact. TBH, that could of been enough to bring it down a star, but all in all i actually really love this chair and the price was right. I need to find a foot rest to go with it though, because it is very upright- people like me with bad posture will need some lower elevation to sit comfortably for longer periods. Me and my daughter sit in it to read books or i pull up a small desk and do my homework. The actual height of the seat is great for me. I’m 5’5”. Though for someone like 6.2 -its a little low. My 5’11” partner enjoys it just fine and we can both sit in it together (side by side). Not comfortably, but we are both pretty slim, him even more than me. lol. So its worth the buy. It seems like it would do great outside too. I’m still deciding if its gonna stay in my room or on the patio. Only time will tell.

This is a beautiful chair! It took me a little while to put it together but I was able to assemble it by myself. The cushion is nice and thick and I am really going to enjoy sitting on my patio in this chair while looking out over my garden. I would definitely recommend this chair!
