But you do have to understand what it is and how it works.White laundry that is dull and dingy may be physically dirty despite having been washed (some dirt can be difficult to get out), or it may be chemically stained. For physical dirt, you’re just going to have to wash it with good detergent. For chemical stains, use chlorine bleach or an oxygen bleach such as Oxy. Your laundry has to be basically white to begin with for bluing to do any good.So what is this product? What is bluing? It’s a weak blue dye (weak once it’s diluted). But, shifting white very slightly to blue makes it look “brighter.” The human eye actually perceives a very slightly blue shade as whiter than white. IT DOES EXACTLY WHAT IT STATES. MAKE SURE YOU USE A MEASURING SPOON OR CUP. FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR WHITES WILL BE BRIGHT WHITE! ALSO, THE BOTTLE LAST AN EXTREMELY LONG TIME WITH AN AVERAGE HOUSEHOLD BUT I UTILIZE NOTHING BUT WHITE TOWELS.

A family friend told me about this product to help with my dingy whites. It was my first time using it today and it did not disappoint. It may take a few washes, but I can already tell the difference. Be careful though- you do have to mix it with water before putting it in the washer. The bottle does give you great instructions, so follow as instructed. I have a front loader, so after mixing it with water, in put it in the fabric softener/bleach compartment.
