works just fine
I used a countertop repair kit to fix a few small chips and cracks on my kitchen counter, and I’m really impressed with how well it worked. My countertop has a quartz surface, and there were a couple of places where the finish had gotten damaged over time. This repair kit made it so easy to fix those spots. The instructions were clear, and the product was simple to apply. Once I filled in the cracks and smoothed the surface, the repairs blended in almost perfectly with the original countertop. One thing I really appreciated was how quickly the repair set dried. After just a few hours, the repaired areas were solid and ready to be used again. The kit includes everything needed to make the repairs look professional, including a color-matching paste that helps the fixed areas blend seamlessly into the rest of the countertop. It’s also versatile enough for use on other surfaces like porcelain sinks or tubs, which I plan to try on some of the minor chips in my bathroom.Overall, I’m really happy with how this repair kit worked. It saved me the hassle of hiring a professional, and the results were just as good as if I had done so. If you have any chips or cracks in your countertops, sinks, or tubs, this kit is a great solution that’s easy to use and delivers great results. It’s an affordable and effective way to keep your surfaces looking as good as new!

Takes a bit of patience, practice & an eye for color blending . . . but wonderful results
I bought a vanity countertop that arrived with a cracked backsplash. It wasn't cracked in two pieces (yet), and the crack happened to be smack in the middle of the backsplash which means it would be partially hidden because it's directly behind the faucet. The vendor wasn't able to just replace the backsplash, so rather than ship the entire thing back and delay installation, I accepted their discount. Our contractor suggested trying a product such as this . . . especially since it was still in one piece. Once installed, there would be no stress on the piece itself, so the repair would be for aesthetic reasons only.My review relates just to my aesthetic repair so I'm not sure how this product would work for a more structural mend.Let me start by saying I am completely happy with the results.Following are some tips, pros and cons . . . although the cons are more warnings than actual cons.Tips:- be patient. This project took some time. I applied this in two coats, so including drying time, this project spanned 2 days.- don't use the gloves that come with this (they're too loose and get in the way), but do use tight fitting latex-type disposable gloves. The color pots are so, so teeny that there is no way to open them without getting product all over your fingers so you definitely need to wear gloves.- the product is extreeeemely sticky and gooey. It's very much the consistency of hot glue coming out of a glue gun except it's not hot and doesn't dry as fast.- If possible, lay your item flat. The product is thick, so if your repair happens to be on a vertical area it shouldn't run out of the repair area, but this is meticulous work and working on a flat horizontal area is much easier than working on a vertical one.- a little goes a long way with the color dyes. My material is a dark moon stone which is a dark grey matte finish mottled with greys and taupe. I mixed a pea size scoop of each product, and just stuck the tip of a toothpick in the black, then the tip of another toothpick in the brown. I mixed these all together and lucked out and got the perfect shade of grey-brown.- if your fill area is small, toothpicks may work better than the wood mini-popsicle sticks that come in the box. My crack was a hairline crack with only a few tiny chips missing. I used a toothpick to mix the product, add dots of color dye, and used another clean toothpick to apply.- overfill areas knowing that scraping away excess is better than trying to apply this evenly and level- if your repair is on a completely smooth surface and you have a razor blade scraper, that worked beautifully for me to remove excess fill instead of wiping. My chips were so shallow, that when I wiped away excess, this would pull the fill out from the chipped areas.- keep an eye on it to find the perfect time to scrape away excess. Too soon and scraping will pull product out from your repair, but wait too long and it's too solid to use a razor on. I didn't time my project, but I'd say that I used the razor about 3-4 hours after filling my shallow crack and chips.Pros:- water soluble! Any product that gets on your workspace/countertop or your hands can be washed away with soap and water, or sprayed with a little bleach and just wiped off.Cons/things to take note of:- again, the stickiness of this product makes it tedious and not very easy to work with- both jars of product came only 1/4 filled. They were both completely sealed, so I don't think it was defective packaging, but I was a little surprised to see such a small amount of product in each jar.- the color pots on the other hand, are teeny tiny and filled to the brim with dye. I have pretty small hands and they weren't the easiest to open. You need to use your thumbnail to pry the top off and there's no way to do so without getting quite a bit of dye on your fingers.Overall :)See attached photos for before, during and after. Very happy with the results.

Probably not worth it
There was a very tiny amount in this package. Think of the paint by numbers plastic containers it was about half the size. I did use it, it was very difficult to match the colors, as you have just a tiny bit of product to work with. It was very gloopy and overall a challenge for me. It took about 24 to 48 hours to dry fully which was correct according to the directions. Useful if you have a very small area to address. Also please note that once you open it you must use it as there is no way to save it for later.

Easy, fast and effective repair for ceramic tiles.
It works for ceramic tile!! The product is really easy to mix and find the right color. It took me about 5 minutes in order to have the product the way I wanted. The product is very easy to apply on the surface and the results were amazing.A broken ceramic tile now is fixed!!!!I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to repair a tile.

Quartz counter repair ok but not great.
Color mix is limited. Provided dark green, black, tan and blue. Needed a different green, but mixed tan, black and green and got close. Probably should have used all black inretrospect. Color mix amount is limited also. Really not enough to provide two coat application after first coat dried. Which needed for a deep chip which I had. Dries in 24 hours. Sanding was easy, but be careful not to sand your counter top too much. It appears to be like plastic, so no sure how long it will last. Overall not bad for the price.

Easy to work with. Colors are great. Looks so good when finished. Take your time doing. I did it in stages. I applied each day for 3 days.
