I was looking for retro looking LED patio lights with the look of traditional a filament lamp. This string fit the bill. It's was billed as commercial grade and it is certainly strong and well made. The look of the lights when on are great - a warm light that looks like an old style light. I bought the companion dimmer and it works well, too, on these LEDs. The only criticism I have is I'd like to be able to dim them a little more but that's a typical LED issue that I'm willing to live with. So far, after three weeks, I am very happy with my new patio lighting.

Love the quality of the strings but these bulbs are a stark bright white. A dimmer wouldn't help because the tone is gray/blue light not warm/glow as described. Hoping seller sends me new amber-toned bulbs. Want to keep these but can't even sit outside with this color & brightness. Will update review when seller responds

We had our first downpour since installation, and every light is still working. These were easy to install. They include a weather-sealed gasket at the plugs. These were one of the few kits I found with dimmable bulbs. I found this to be an absolute necessity since they're surprisingly bright at the top of their range. I used a lutron dimmer switch feeding an outdoor outlet, and it's been flawless so far.

Got these for the overhang above the patio and they serve the purpose well. Easy to hang. Nice and bright! heavy duty construction!We went ahead and got the inline dimmer which is a nice addition as we can set at just the right brightness.Definitely recommend!

I put these up with a dimmer switch and they are really cool if you don't want an atmosphere that is way too bright. If I push the dimmer switch all the way up it starts flashing. I call it (The Congo Line} setting.:)

Perfect for my covered porch. Brighter than expected, but a regular dimmer will take care of it. Nice amber glow. Love the fact it's got 24 sockets vs 15 on a 48' string.

Look great and easy to install ! Have 4 settings for brightness and can control with a remote control!

So far so good! I would recommend getting the dimmer as well because these babies are bright! But the lights are a nice warm tone so it is not too intrusive.
