Little blue guys. Nuf said.
The movie gets an automatic 3 stars for Mandy Patinkin. The 4th star is because my daughter really enjoyed the movie which gave me 90 minutes to contemplate whether I should work out. I couldn't pull the trigger on the 5th star because Gargamel (spelling?) was not convincing enough.

a heartwarming story
I think this is a heartwarming story / movie. It is about fitting in and finding your place in life. I think this is for the whole family. I also think it is a little odd that most of the Smurfs are 'pigeoned in' for only one trait (at least that is what they are name after even though they do go beyond it - but that is just my opinion).
