I purchased 2 of the lamps. They are everything I expected and need. They are very good looking. I have 1 on each corner of the house. The single bulb gives good nighttime lighting.

I'm very happy with my new patio lamp and plan to buy another. However, the assembly was a royal pain and I suspect whoever designed the assembly of these has never actually DONE an assembly. Some parts are too snug and make lining up the mount holes extremely difficult; had to buy a slightly longer bolt to replace one of the nylon base bolts; unwrapped the lantern prematurely (hint: leave this bubblewrapped until AFTER cord is threaded through post and it's ready to mount, to protect it from banging around). On the flip-side, snug fit means sturdy frame. Overall, I recommend this product if you have a few basic tools, a little muscle, and a lot patience.

Beautiful lamp post. But a pain in the a** trying to figure out the joiners. Didn't realize it was plastic until I unwrapped it. I think it's a bit pricey for plastic. My old lamp post was metal. Wonder how well will it hold up in the sun and snow. I like that its electric plug in, and Not solar. You can put it on a timer or buy a dust to dawn bulb.PS: you have to buy sand for bottom base to weigh lamp down.

It's all plastic---good for me because I live in the beach!

I bought the outdoor lamp without the planter at the bottom - It is over 6 feet tall and looks great.The instructions on putting it together were less than perfect, but logic and past experience with lamps got it together in over an hour.I do recommend this electric outdoor lamp.
