I've had an iGeek DVD player since Covid first hit, and while it did the job it annoyed me from the get-go. The picture was yellow-ish on about half of the DVDs I watched, no matter how I adjusted the settings, and it was generally a noisy little machine. Lately, it has been really struggling to play DVDs - it will still play them, but you have to take the CD out, keep cleaning it, then keep cleaning the lens, etc., and after like, 10 minutes, you *might* be able to trick it to play. It felt like when the time is up on a car - you know it's time to move on to greener pastures. (This was after 4 years of fairly regular use because I borrow a lot of DVDs from the library to watch while I work.)I came back to Amazon to see what was out there and settled on the $108 DVD player that everyone was rating highly. It was pricey, sure, but if it gives me less hassle than my current one, it's worth the price. Well, nope - when that thing came, it was the size of a laptop because I did what I always do and missed reading the specs before I purchased it.So I happened upon this one - right price point, *seemingly* right size based on customer pictures, and when it came, I was so impressed! It feels like watching movies on my big-screen TV but at like, a 16th of the screen size, which is perfect for squeezing it onto my desk while I work. The sound quality blew me out of my chair - in fact, my son came out from his room to see if something was wrong it was so loud. I dropped it down to just one bar, and it was still at the perfect sound. I haven't watched a full movie on it yet, but I was impressed that it doesn't sound like a jackhammer when you're skipping around to different menus. Impressive picture, sound, and less noisy, plus it's even *smaller* than my iGeek (which I see as a plus). Most definitely the better purchase between this and the laptop-sized one. Highly recommend if you need a small-screened DVD player that does the job. And, not like I will need it for this, but it also works with your TV, which is pretty great if you need a DVD player and don't already use your gaming consoles like we do. And, of course, it comes with a car adapter for if you have kids in the car. At this price point, you honestly can't do better if you're looking for great quality in a smaller package.

The media could not be loaded. What a great little unit.I posted a video showing how easy and seamless the player switches from DVD to USB Card reading, to SD Card reading. The external AV out works fantastic with every TV I tried. Amazing battery life for such a lightweight unit...don't know how they got all that power in such a lightweight package. I checked out the car battery adapter and it works to charge the battery just like it should. The crystal-clear HD monitor section of the DVD Player swivels as well as tilts so you can angle the screen in any direction needed to avoid the glare of sun or lights while enjoying your favorite movie.PRO's:- Excellent quality screen and visuals. Even when casting the picture and sound through the AV connection, the quality is maintained.- Simple to use in all modes.- The Long-Life Battery is fantastic for such a light unit. Entertainment for hours and hours.- I love that it plays my SD cards and USB Drive sticks. I don't have to fire up the desktop just to check out my latest photos or videos.- The unit even plays MP3's off an SD cards and USB Drive stick. Amazing!!!!- Works great in the back seat of my truck for the kids.CONs: None thus far, but I will update this review if I find any bugs.Highly recommended. Quite a bit of bang for the buck.

The small, portable DVD player is great! I've been using since it was delivered and have had no issues. Great quality! I hooked it up to my TV and watch thru that. I can't wait to take it on our upcoming trip for my daughter to use in the car!

Surprisingly quiet little dvd player. Good sounds quality and picture is bright. Nice for long car rides.I never wanted to be the person that plugged my kid into a screen but....Took it on a road trip to the ocean and got our 4 year old all the way there quietly. My only complaint is that it said it had 5 hours of battery life which would be about 2 and a half kids movies... we only got 1 and a half movies there and when we went home it died 30 minutes into the drive home.I'd definitely bring the car charger with you just in case! Can't have an angry toddler in the car!!

So its actually very cute and convenient. I wasn't expecting it to be so small but I prefer it that way! The screen quality is actually very good and clear, the volume is perfect. It doesn't sound garbled, it comes out clean and crisp. Overall great purchase for the price

Absolutely love this. Plays great with my DVDs. Sound and volume is fantastic. Picture is clear. It saves your spot on DVD when turned off or it shuts off because it has to be charged up. But I use this all the time. I love it.
