9-in-1 Bilingual Educational Toy

My five year-old son has low-vision and an educational diagnosis of autism. He has developmental delays and delayed speech. This interactive toy is PERFECT for his needs! I have ordered V-tech and other name brand toddler tablets and “laptops”—which are great, but far too Complicated for my son; most of the time, on the other laptops, he presses a button which takes him out of the mode he enjoys and the questions are much too complicated for him to understand…he still presses their buttons for cause and effect, but not using the vast majority of those products’ functions as intended.There is a HUGE NEED for better mass-produced toys and learning toys for young children with special needs. I am really so HAPPY to have found THIS item!In the Game mode—when it asks to find a letter, it LIGHTS UP THE ANSWER…so while it’s asking to find the letter “M”, the letter “M” lights up…and then the child presses the “M” to answer. It also will ask them to find animals like “Tiger”. This feature is helpful for them to “get the answer right” while also teaching. It is great for low-vision children who NEED HELP TO SEE and find the answer.It has little busy items like a spinner and a ball with beads that also activates special effects audio…he LOVES to spin things—his favorite thing to do. The spinner here is shaped like the popular spinners that you hold between your thumb and middle finger, BUT….if you have ever given one of those to your toddler, you know that their hand is not big enough to allow the spinner to spin freely in this grip….in THIS set-up, the spinner is attached to the board, so it can be spun without difficulty.It has a wide, light-up light switch sized for young fingers to easily feel and find. You can also press the buttons freely and the voice will say the animal name and play the animal sound. The animal pictures are cute, yet realistic.This also has a Spanish mode. My son prefers English, but often enjoys the sounds of different languages, especially after he has grown too familiar with a toy’s settings.For an “off-brand” (or brand that isn’t Fisher Price, Etc), I think they nailed it with this product! This product isn’t quite as sturdy as those Big Name brands, and by that I mean…the buttons feel just a little looser and the plastic frame a little lighter. You will notice a difference in overall weight between this and a V-tech “tablet”. But in terms of FUNCTIONALITY, I think it actually surpasses many of the others.With the Big Name brands, you slide switches to enter new modes, and pressing buttons can navigate your child far away from their favorite mode. This product is not overly-simplistic, but it’s much easier to find your favorite mode.I think the bigger brands try to pack SO much “content” into one device, with advanced concepts, and that is great for a lot of children….But if you want something with a lot of entertainment and learning value that is suitable for a child with developmental delays, autism, special needs, OR a YOUNGER neurotypical child (a child with normal development), then I HIGHLY recommend this product.For average children I think this is perfect for a child 18 months-3/4 years-old. A five year-old might also enjoy this, especially if you are teaching them basic letter and number recognition, or if they are frustrated by the $20 V-tech laptops. BUT, if they are already navigating REAL android tablets, Fires, or iPads like little pros, this may feel too basic or boring for them.The volume is perfect. The speech is clear. It features many familiar nursery and children’s songs. I will update this review if this product ever stops performing, but I also would not hesitate to buy another if it breaks from heavy use. Even for this price. I think it’s that unique for OUR needs!For most kids—this is ideal for ages 18 months-3/4 years old. This would also be suitable for older children who don’t already use adult tablets.For children with Special Needs—this is ideal for even older children up to age 6/7 or beyond, depending on their stage of mental development.To the Company: Please make MORE products like this one! Ones with visual and audio elements that highlight the answer. Please make different versions with new animals, and themes—like musical instruments, etc…even add “piano” keys.

Love this for my grandson! It has a ton of different options in English and Spanish with a lot of fun sounds also! We've been playing it for our grandson since he was 2 months old and it always catches his attention when it gets turned on!

I purchased this for my grandson, and he absolutely loves it! It's the perfect gift and keeps him entertained. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for something that will bring joy to a little one!

This is a great bilingual toy with a lot of potential, especially for introducing young children to both English and Spanish. However, there are several grammatical errors in the Spanish mode, which could be confusing for learners. Additionally, one of the animal names is not even translated into Spanish. I haven’t noticed any grammatical errors in the English mode. Good toy but needs improvement to make it last longer.Update July 18 2025.Unfortunately the toy stop working. Tried new battery and things like that.Now I can’t return because my window is closed.

Loved to toy and education behind it but it broke within four days. Buttons started sticking and couldn’t stop it from repeating same thing over n over. Wanted to return and replace but missed the return window.

Baby enjoyed the toy and he is engaged in the sounds. It was a gift for my grandson.

I love the fact that this is bilingual for my grandson! It is very durable and appealing to young children.
