The Alston Portable Selfie light is a fantastic little gadget! The light is extremely bright, i cannot capture how bright this little device is on camera but it's bright enough to light up a totally dark room, and if on full brightness, leaves your eyes struggling to see as if looking into full beam headlights! The way you can adjust the "temperature" of the light to your liking by adjusting the warm light or white light is a great little feature, and then being able to easily adjust the brightness as well, i am pleasantly surprised by this fantastic little item! It attaches to your phone, or tripod/phone stand via a little clamp, and is light enough that you barely notice it. You can place the clamp on either of two sides of the light so it means you can set things up exactly how you like! While on it feels extremely stable and safe! The battery is fast to charge, and seems to last a while, but i have no exact timings as mine has yet to run out! It also comes with a little carry case and charging wire. I think this is a must have for photographers, content creators or people who want to set up the perfect lighting for that shot/video, and such an excellent price!

Very happy with this little light. I bought it for my online yoga classes & videos and it does the job perfectly. Multiple lights settings & brightness, detachable clip & tripod attachment, pretty long battery life. Good purchase

Clips onto my wife's phone (and includes a cut out to avoid camera lenses if required) sturdily. It was stable in use and easy to use. The buttons were a little hard to see, especially with the light on, but no problem. Varying light intensities from "I'm blinded" downward. Lightweight as well which is ideal and came fully charged.

Cheap and cheerful light. I have found sometimes when turning it on it doesn't actually light up, but if I hold down one of the warmth adjusting buttons it then comes on. I like that you can adjust the warmth/coolness of the light through a good range of options and that you can also adjust the brightness. It clips nicely on to the top of my iphone which then sits in a phone holder for recording videos. It also comes with a hot shoe mount if attaching to a DSLR mirrorless which is a handy feature. Yes it is cheap but for the money I'm actually very impressed.

I love this little thing, it’s very robust it’s good quality it clips on to things with ease it’s also extremely sturdy, it won’t move or fall. It’s lightweight, it has so many different lighting options, makes pics look great and selfies on point. It’s got a good battery life! Great quality! Love love!

Wow!!! Absolutely changed my photo quality!!! My selfies are so fantastic with this light. Great battery life, charge is only needed every 3-4 weeks for me perhaps as I don’t utilise it every single day. Overall functional performance is great. Amazing brightness settings. Definitely recommended. Fits perfectly onto my IPhone using its handy clip and is extremely sturdy and does not fall off or anything. It can be repositioned easily too. Just great! Best I’ve ever bought.

I got this just to help me take better photos and i didnt want to fork out for fancy photography lights and gizzmos when i wont be needing it all that much. - Its very bright and i like that the warm lighting doesnt mean "dimmer" because often yellow light isnt as bright as blue or white but this was still just as vibrant on full brightness. - The battery is also great i used it on and off for a good few weeks before it had to charge and it was fully charged rather fast. - the size is good too its perfectly pocket sized so its easy to take out and around in a bag or back pocket. - the clip things to clip it to your phone are a bit stiff and i was a bit worried about it but i guess that just means its sturdy

This portable selfie light works well for close-up shots and selfies, providing a nice, bright glow. However, it’s not powerful enough for larger spaces or when the light is positioned further away. It’s good for small, personal use, but not effective for wider areas.

i bought 2 and both inside of the box have very different packaging. one came fine, but the other came in a plastic case with a black bag and no attachments. I reached out to the email on the box.

Very functional portable clip on light. The product info says 3 light modes & 10 brightness levels, but actually, the modes adjust by individual clicks adding more warm or bright lights (see picture range) and there’s 8 of those, each one can adjust the full 10 brightness levels, so that’s a combination of 80 possible lighting adjustments. I tried to show some of this variety in the video but turns out filming a light is difficult, especially with iphone auto light adjustments, and the pictures really show the warm and bright bulb combos but rest assured in person it casts a steady “light”, not dots. It comes with a few different attachments which is handy, I only tested out the clamp as I do not have a tripod or such. The clamp is very strong. It’s not overly large which is great as it allows you to clamp onto phone without blocking any features, as I tried to show in pictures you can clamp it the full clamp width down or quite close to the end and it will still hold (although I wouldn’t swing it around like this, it’s not wobbly for basic holding/use), and it even gripped on to the side with no issue. It just fit on my ipad with it’s case which is quite wide so good functionality range to the clamp. I really like that it tilts, in my opinion this is the most important feature. I have previously tried using a light that only stayed perfectly parallel to the phone and I was not happy with how limited the lighting was without the tilt, this is a much better design to get the best lighting. (I would still ideally like a light to both tilt and swivel but I’m not docking this product for not swivelling as I still find it very accommodating.) Of course it’s USB charge, a person needs a ton of adapters now for every electronic to charge, but again I cannot fault this for being USB when that’s the current go to. The light itself and attachments all feel very solid, I doubt it’ll have any issues with lasting. I definitely would recommend this light, I think it’s extremely functional and well made. At time of this review, this is listed at $39.99 with a $19 coupon offered.

This is definitely quality, battery life is good usually lasts for a b hour or 2 hours. value for money, great phone mount with a stable selfie or tripod stand!
