That is was the gum/gomme and not water

I have never heard of Tragacanth Gum so was interested to try it. I followed the directions and soaked a small amount in water until it softened and become gel like. I added mine to my morning smoothie. This is organic and chemical free and found it helps with digestion. I have also tried it added to my butter icing for cakes and it didn't add any flavor and gave it a nice consistency. I am impressed with this

There is a lot of ‘brown’ something in all the pieces and I can’t even return them because they are a no -returnable product!

Very easy to use, has to be soaked for at least 4 hours to be used for smoothies.

I have been using gond katira for quite a few years so was very pleased to get this. Gond Katira has natural cooling properties so I use it during the summer months to regulate heat in my body and keep it cool. I use the dissolved gelatinous solution & add it to rose water and drink it everyday during the summer months. This pack contains plenty of gond chips so will last you for a long time. The chips are of good size & quality. They soak well in water and dissolve completely. Overall, very pleased with the product. It also comes in resealable bag so easy to store it too. 当方が当初手に入れた時は、登録されている分類が通常の噛めるが食べられないチューイングガムの所に分類されており、「これ？インドからの輸入品かな？」と勘違いして、手に入れてしまいました。 商品登録位置がおかしいのは置いておくとして、成分表などみていると、どう考えても食品。 英語のページをよく見ると、スープやシチューや、日本だとカレーにも使う様なガム(増粘剤)の様で、日本だととろみを付けるのに片栗粉入れたりしますが、海外の水っぽいスープなどだと、多分このガム(食用)を入れて粘度を出すのだとおもいます。 たまーに、カレーにガムが入っていると書いてありますが、これはその種類の系統のものだと思います。 自分でカレーやシチューを作ったら、自己責任で入れてつかってみるつもりですが、現状はちょっと使う予定は無いので、貯蔵中です。

使用方法が詳細に記されているわけではないのが今一つ。 そこで、ソース系の液体の粘度調整に使用してみました。 ・アイスクリームにトッピングするフルーツソースに使用。フルーツジュースに本品を使用すると、スイーツ等にトッピングできるソースになります。 ・めんつゆに使用。麺に上掛けする事で、一風変わった味わいが楽しめます。 天然素材であり、その点は安心して使用できるので、色々応用できそうなのは良い事です。

I didn't realize how horrible this tasted If you purchase it be aware that it has not a good flavor to it , the texture is really Slimy
