Pediatric FE-Vite Drops | Liquid Iron Supplement | 50ml, 1.66 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)

My daughter needed iron supplements and these were recommended by her pediatrician. The product itself is great but the dropped lid can be messy.

Daughter needed this drops.. she is 1 it was a fight every single time to be expected. It didn't taste great. Product was good.

The worst dropper I have ever seen in my life. It is definitely not “easy to use” as advertised on the box. It’s a glass dropper with about 1 cm room in the plastic squeezer to squeeze the iron drops into the dropper. You can’t get the liquid into the dropper nor release it into the baby’s mouth. Baby was not able to consume the liquid because it is so difficult to use the dropper. The dropper does not screw onto the bottle so you will need to remove it and replace it with the original cap. The iron liquid itself is fine and tastes fine possibly more fruity than the non fruity flavored iron drops. I would not buy. Not usable. Not to mention how difficult it was to remove the safety plastic and aluminum off of the lid of the bottle upon first use. It didn’t come off completely. Better to pay any amount of money to get a different brand because I now have to go looking for and buy a different brand anyway. RxChoice ferrous sulfate drops has an incredibly easy dropper that easily sucks in the liquid and releases all of the liquid into the baby’s mouth in one shot of about one second. The RxChoice dropper also screws into the bottle so that you can leave it as the permanent lid.

I decided to start my toddler on an iron supplement and this product seems great. My child is a picky eater. So, I appreciate that this iron supplement is sufficient for his daily needs. Upon arrival, the outside packaging looked normal. However, when I opened it, the inside was sticky and I could see that the liquid had leaked out. The products packaging says to discard if the safety seal has been tampered with, so that's what I did. I want to reorder another one, but I'm concerned about this happening again. This may be avoided if this was packaged better with bubble wrapping or something.I gave 2 stars because I believe it's a good product, but deducted since I was unable to use it.
