Loved it!!!! Amazing characters, lots of laughs 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Came across this as a suggested read in my Kindle Unlimited bit, and glad I read it as it really made me laugh (there were some downs with the ups and I also cried... yeah, I'm a sap what can I say?!?)...there were some scenes in Bora-Bora that almost had me peeing my pants for sure!!![side bar, without giving too much away: why on Earth would Maggie have still played bridesmaid after everything is beyond me, she must be a very, very niiiiice person!]Anyway, the characters were so well-written, and I found myself loving (or hating.... Daddy Reggie, that's you!!!) them... The romance between her brother and her boyfriend was epic, had to laugh at that stupid pair... ALOT!!!!! (certainly sympathise with the women of whoever those characters were based on lol)...Very much an enjoyable read, will be looking for anymore in the series, seeing as there were at least 2 unattached billionaires sons, I feel there must be more to come(?)Can thoroughly recommend you give this a go! There's steamy rompypompy😉, but also a decent storyline and epic characters 👍🏻👌🏻I read this book as part of my Kindle Unlimited subscription (free book but I have to pay for the subscription)

Meghan does it again!
This story follows Maggie, who is heading to Bora-Bora for vacation from her busy wedding planning business in hopes for some holiday loving. She soon realises that one of the biggest weddings of the century is happening right here in the resort. Que Brody, her brother's best friend who is also at the resort trying to rub shoulders with the boss. Bickering back and forth, Maggie and Brody find themselves agreeing to fake date in hopes to benefit both of their careers.Going into a book written by Meghan, you know you're about to have the time of your life and come away with a new fictional bf. She does rom coms so well, that will have you actually laughing out loud while you swoon. So, we were introduced to Maggie in the Almond Bay series as a side character and I'm glad she got her own book because I adored her. My favourite thing in all of Meghan’s books are the “easter eggs” referencing characters from her previous books (feral for JP Cane). The story line was fun and kept me wanting to read on; Meghan does a really good job at constantly drawing you in. While falling in love with the main characters, I always find myself falling for the side characters too. I need books on Hudson and Hardy asap.I absolutely loved the mixture of banter and tension; the building was immaculate. I felt pent up with them. Overall, I think this book was beyond perfect, and I'd love to re-read it somewhere hot and sunny!Star: 4Spice:3Key Points:1st PersonDual POVHEATropes:Fake DatingBrother’s Best FriendEnemies to LoversForced ProximityOne BedRomantic Comedy

The funniest book I have read in a long time
This was a great read! Started this book this morning on audio while doing housework and I've just finished the ebook now at 2:45am, while trying not to wake up my husband with me laughing out (the bed was vibrating - behave!! 😜)I literally couldn't put it down! The storyline was brilliant and the characters were really likeable and so funny. The chemistry was hot 🔥🔥Definitely a brilliant read x

This book misses the mark
I got 42% through this book and couldn't read any more because of the endless bickering between the two lead characters, Brody and Maggie. I actually quite liked Brody as a character as he was not the usual self assured male lead. I could empathise with his feelings of social inadequacy, but Maggie was a terrible character, appparently oblivious to the laughing stock she was making of Brody. Not a winner for me, I'm afraid.

Such a cute, funny and worthwhile read!
Brody is such a loveable, albeit dorky character and the writer with this dual narrative gives us such a hilarious insight into the thoughts and voices of the couple in such a distinct and consistent way, making me often feel like the characters were realistic and well rounded. The internal monologue often made me laugh out loud; was hard to put this book down and I loved the friendships in the book, especially the one with Gary and Brody. Such a great move away from toxic masculine characters and a great bromance! Worth reading just for the fun of it and if you want a little escape!

There was so many touching moments that equally made you love the characters more! Please do yourself a favor and read this if you're in need of a sweet but spicy romance or just a good laugh !

Really good
I recently discovered Meghan Quinn and I like her books a lot both on KU and Audible. There is always a cliffhanger that I wish to skip, but that is me, and the characters are always well presented. 😀 gonna read more!

Hilarious Rom Com!
Meghan Quinn does it again! She interweaves romance, spiciness and laughter in a clever way that keeps the reader engaged from the beginning.Maggie is on a tropical vacation in Bora Bora to relax and take time off from her wedding planning business. Brody is at the same resort as a last minute stand in replacement guest at his billionaire boss daughter’s wedding. Maggie and Brody have a history of mutual attraction and simultaneous dislike as Brody is Maggie’s brother’s best friend and Maggie is off limits. When they bump into each other at the resort, Maggie charges forward introducing herself as Brody’s guest thinking that getting cozy with the family will help her business. Maggie and Brody share a room and the fake girlfriend games begin. Brody is nervous as he has a presentation to give to his boss, the father of the bride, and he is trying to make a good impression. Unfortunately, the wedding week events all shamefully cast Brody in a silly calamitous light. Maggie steps in as a bridesmaid for the bride’s friend. Will faking a relationship for both of their careers make Maggie and Brody give in to their mutual attraction? When both of their careers are at risk will they be able to work out their complicated relationship?
