Melt your lovers heart with this fanciful, framed, glass heart. This is a one of a kind piece and would make the perfect wedding gift. It fits into just about any interior design/home decor, including modern, contemporary, industrial, urban, Scandinavian and more. This beautiful red and white glass heart was created by melting glass pieces and then "combing" the molten glass when it reached 1700°F (while wearing a full fire suit - see last image). I love how the colors flow and pull through each other. This piece is full of distinctive layers and fluid depth. Cutting, assembly, cold working and shaping took about 4 hours and total kiln time was approximately 52 hours. Note that the entire glass panel was then epoxied to the glass of the frame so that the heart is exposed (not behind the glass), giving it more of a 3 dimensional feel. Handcrafted in Cincinnati, OH.
