I got these to wear when I have to sit under the dryer at my salon and they work GREAT!! They take literally 2 seconds to put together, just pop the ends in the cups and voila. I like to wear them with the handle-bit hanging under my chin so it doesn't interfere with my hair. Bonus, the cups are large enough to wear over a Bluetooth or ear buds but still comfortably (and fully) cover your ears from the heat. My stylist saw me with them and said she was going to buy some for the shop! Earsavers!

I get ear infections easily when I get any amount of water in my ears. I’ve used ear plugs in the shower for a long time but lately have been getting infections anyway. I used these covers in addition to my plugs and they work pretty well at keeping the water away. There are three tiny slots on the bottom of each ear cup (presumably to let any water that leaks in to drain out?) and you have to be very careful that those point straight down or water will flow in them as you wash your face and hair. Only 4 stars because I think they’re grossly overpriced for three pieces of plastic and also because they’re a tad uncomfortable. They have to fit tightly to keep water out, so the discomfort is tolerable for an adult who understands that, but I’m gonna guess many kids wouldn’t want to wear them. But overall a very serviceable product.

I wear these to sleep (just flip the strap part to the front under your chin instead of behind your neck) and they protect my new piercings so well! Anyone with pierced ears will love these as they keep you from accidentally squishing your sensitive ears when rolling to the side. Also, they really are far more comfy after wearing them a couple times, it loosens up a bit and doesn't squeeze as hard. The cup around the ear is hard enough to keep anything from hurting my piercings if I roll on my side in my sleep, but soft enough it won't hurt or wake me up.

These are great for healing piercings! I use them to keep my ear piercings (22) safe while washing might hair. As well as brushing my hair or getting a hair cut. They don’t keep water out completely but do keep them from getting waterlogged and hair from pulling or getting tangled. I wish I would have found them sooner!

TERRIFIC PRODUCT but I need a longer strap. Can you make this in a larger size - for the plastic strap, not the ear guards.

Works well at keeping water out of my ears when showering and washing hair in the shower. Might not keep them completely dry if you try to bend over to rinse the back of your head. There are slits in the bottom to make sure no sweat builds up, so be sure you put them on correctly.

Great idea, but doesn’t work as well with longer hair (i.e. longer than a pixie cut). It doesn’t matter how I position the ear covers, they slide and move, allowing water to get in; it can be expected if you think about it. If you simply want to keep water out of your ears when showering or washing your hair, just use some decent earplugs. I bought this item to prevent my new ear piercing from getting too wet and to keep germs from infecting it when I washed my hair. My piercing was healing poorly and I was trying to do my part to protect it. Ear covers did help keep some water off my new piercing, but it was more of a nuisance. It took longer to wash my hair because I realized I was limiting necessary movements to keep the ear covers on. Finally, it was just easier to wash my hair without them. I just washed my hair faster without all the extra scalp massaging. These ear covers were also kind of pricey for the amount of water that actually gets in. Should $10 or less in my opinion.

I purchased this because I have an ear infection. This works perfectly! I haven't had any issues, no water leaking etc. Though there are small spots at the bottom in case water does get in.

The ear protectors really work! My ears are dry and comfortable while showering which is a huge relief. I was extremely doubtful whether there would be any benefit but so far so good.

Although they may not work for everyone (since the cups do not adjust for size); if they fit they work. They'll fit most ear sizes though, so I don't see this as an issue. If you need to keep your ears 100% dry, you might still have to wear an additional cover, but these work wonders for keeping the majority of the water out, and they have little drain holes that allow any accidental moisture to drop out (this happens; you'll bump the ear piece sometimes as you wash your head or whatever).
