Love this steamer! Works great and produces a good amount of steam for both hardwood and tile floors. I used chemicals on my floors for years and decided to switch to this steamer and am so glad I did. I do miss the scent the mop and soapy water provide but, my floors are shiny and clean after using this steamer. It’s easy to use and the water tank lasts for multiple rooms. It’s a great value for the money and amazing quality!

Steam is NOT necessary to use this product and get a very clean floor.
This is a great product. Even though we have floors that the steam should NOT be used on, we purchased this item to help with cleaning our floors anyway. What I do is start the cleaner on a safe spot in the garage on a piece of flooring. Once the steam has began to flow, I then put it on the floor that we have in the house, WITHOUT THE STEAM, going. The rotating floor pads as well as the wonderful smelling floor cleaner makes the floor so much more cleaner than just a regular mop and also provides a wonderful clean scent throughout the house. We do have some flooring in our basement that is a safe place to use the steaming method of cleaning. I can tell you that it makes a huge difference on the floor look with or without the steam. I have been very pleased. I love squeaky clean floors in our home.

Went through 3 mops, 2/3 broke around the 1 month mark. DO NOT BUY
The media could not be loaded. This is the worst steam mop I have ever used. I have been through 3 of these! The first issue was my fault, our puppy chewed through the cord. I had loved the mop so much at first I eventually purchased a 2nd one. This second mop worked great and then stopped working after exactly 1 month. The mop head still spun, the machine was heating up but the machine had stopped producing steam. This may have also been my fault as I did put a little all purpose cleaner in tank so I thought I might have ruined it. Reached out to Amazon support who was willing to send a 3rd mop. I got the mop back on July 20th of 2025, I mop once a week on the weekends and as of today, August 17th, the mop stopped producing steam again! This time I followed the instructions to a 2. I never kept the water tank stored on the machine, I only used distilled water and just over a month with this 3rd mop it stopped producing the steam. I am beyond fed up and will be switching back to my shark steam mop I once had. I thought for the price, durability of the machine based on weight and customer service I was just having bad luck but turns out this is just a terrible product. I had read through reviews to only see other having the same issue, I just cannot understand how after 3 mops, I ran into the same issue and any troubleshooting the manual advised did not work. I had always loved bissell and their products but this has turned me away and I was trying to use it as honestly as I could especially after the 3rd mop. Do not buy this mop, look elsewhere and honestly don’t invest this much. I don’t think steam mops in general are meant to last that long anyway but the best luck I had was with my simple $40 shark one. I tired to invest in a more expensive product thinking it would be worth it but it’s been nothing but a nightmare and a headache all year. Absolutely terrible.

IMPORTANT precaution below
Cutting to the chase of the title I want to start out with a precaution I haven’t seen mentioned in the reviews and is merely implied in the instruction manual but not explicitly stated. It is important to know that you should NOT use the ‘sanitization’ mode (first picture) on hardwood floors. As a clean freak myself I know that this can be tempting, however, the amount of ‘steam’ and thus water produced in this mode is BAD for the long term maintenance of HARDWOOD floors. This is because the amount of water left to dry off leaves the hardwood far TOO wet for far too long. (Second photo shows how wet the floor is left when using the sanitize mode, as you can see it is quite wet) And if you know anything about hardwood floors you know that excess water left to sit for excess time negatively impacts the integrity of the flooring overtime. I find this important to state because again while it is implied in the directions being that the ‘sanitize’ mode is the ‘tile floor’ option and there is a separate ‘hardwood’ mode option they do not explicitly state this nor do they warn against it. So I’m leaving this here to hopefully help some other clean freaks out in not making this mistake.Moving on, I’ve tried many steam mops and imo this is the best you’ll find. I believe this so much so that I own one and I’ve gifted a friend one and made another friend purchase one for his home. While I do think that the ‘spinning’ aspect of the design is a little gimmicky in how it’s presented, in practice the biggest benefit of the spinning pads is that it makes shifting the mop in various angles and directions extremely hassle free. Other steam mops can tend to start having friction issues with the floor early on in the process which makes moving it about and thus steaming the floors a bit more of an annoying tug push and pull nuisance. Mobility and ease of mobility are really where this one excels beyond its competition.Lastly I implore anyone who does purchase this steam mops to also splurge and buy the BISSEL brand ‘eucalyptus and mint demineralized water’ to use in this. Just plain distilled water is fine but the scent really helps if nothing else giving your mind the (albeit a potential fallacy) reassurance that your floors are ACTUALLY cleaned. Hopefully this information proves useful to some people. Cheers.
