Length is 4.75 inches (12.06 cm). Width is 6.0 inches (15.24 cm) Size Large is for ages 12-18 months. Length is 5.13 inches (13.01 cm). Width is 6.5 inches (16.51 cm) Size X-Large is for ages 18-24 months. Length is 6.13 inches (15.57 cm). Width is 7.0 inches (17.78 cm) Size 2T is for Toddler Size 2. Length is 6.5 inches (16.51 cm). Width is 7.5 inches (19.05 cm) Size 3T is for Toddler Size 3. Length is 7.0 inches (17.78 cm). Width is 8.0 inches (20.32 cm) Size 4T is for Toddler Size 4. Length is 7.5 inches (19.05 cm). Q: Can these be worn in summer or are they too hot?

They are made of fleece, so they do keep the feet toasty. Though, they'd be perfect for cool summer nights.

Q: Are these secure for babies who like to take socks off?

My daughter also liked to take her socks off and eventually did learn how to undo the Velcro but these always stayed on her feet.
