I have been practicing yoga almost daily at a local gym and at work about 10 months, and this is my 4th mat.As a novitiate, I began with a cheap yoga mat, and before long, realized the importance of non-slip mat. So, I upgraded to yet another a little more expensive brand, which turned out to be not much better.I also saw some high-end mats that some of my classmates are using, but they cost over $100, and some of the reviews I read about them were not so encouraging.Then, I found Heathyoga ECO Friendly, which was my 3rd mat, and being happy with its quality, then proceeded to purchase this ProGrip.ProGrip lives up to its name - it feels solid yet soft. There is no slip or wrinkle. It absorbs my sweat (I wonder how that works :-) During the practice, the mat enhances my poses and movements with its high quality workmanship.It also came with a nice carrying bag as an added bonus.When delivered, it had a strong rubber smell, the vendor suggests drying out under sunlight to get rid of.

Oct 2020 Update-Here is a comparison of my old mat to the new one I just got today.The pink one has been used heavily and consistently for hot sweaty yoga for almost two years and it has not let me down. I recently had decided to pressure wash my mat get all the sweat and smell out and it was a learning experience. I got to close at one point and ripped the mat a bit which was a bummer but didn't affect how it did in the hot room. I had used a cleaner on it as well and that did leave a residue in some spots that made it slippery. The center part of the mat was fine but the edges slippery. Decided with my trail and errors of cleaning I would invest i a new one. The new green one feels like the same top coating but its not as heavy my original one. Hoping the new one will last just as long if not longer.Update: I've been using this mat since Feb 19' and so far its been great. I practice (very) hot yoga 4-6 times a week.I've cleaned it multiple times before and today when I went to do the same some of the coloring came off. The towel was pinkish. I haven't had any slippage and any problems but didn't know if the coloring coming off was normal or something I should be worried about. Either way for the price this mat has been fantastic.This yoga mat is legit. I practice HOT yoga 5 times a week, thats a room heated to 110 degrees so the sweat is on. After reading the reviews on this mat I went for it and got the mat Feb 2019. So far its been great. I haven't slipped once during flow or 26 classes. I got tired of towel washing and bunching up and all that. I just did a deep clean of mat following the directions and its doing great. I usually hang in a shady spot outside to dry and I have no problems. I just wish they had the dark green in stock when I ordered mine. I would highly recommend for anymore who needs a great non slip hot mat.

Absolutley love this mat! I am just beginning to teach yoga and needed to update to a better quality mat to practice on and have a couple extras for my clients. I searched and searched and so many out there were just to expensive for me. I tried a couple different manduka mats but I slipped around a lot. I also tried other various brands but still the same problem. I liked how the Lifeform mats had lines to help with better alignment but I definitely knew I couldn't afford 150 dollar mat at this time. That is when I stumbled upon Heathyoga Progrip mat. They didn't have a lot of reviews so I was worried about buying. But I went for it! And I am so glad i did! This is the best mat by far that I have ever used. It is thick which is better on my knees, has amazing grip and I love the lines for better alignment. I love that it comes with a carrying case and an extra carrying strap. Do not hesitate or look any further! This mat is awesome! Purchase with confidence because you will be getting an amazing quality mat for an amazing deal

This mat feels so good under bare feet. It’s thick and grippy, and I like using the alignment markers. It will move under intense poses, but overall is very sturdy. I wish it didn’t show sweat marks, but everything else about it is just great.

Love it! This is my second purchase for the same yoga mat. My first purchase with this company same yoga mat was in 2019, my Ashtanga teacher suggested this exactly yoga mat, and I still practice on it till this day at the studio. This purchase was simply to have a separate yoga mat to practice at my house. It beat cork yoga mats. It is far the best yoga mat I’ve ever owned. I have been practicing yoga for a lobg time and I also teach. This yoga mat is non slippery, great quality, long lasting, light weight, cushioning just right for me, and it’s pretty to look at!
