I bought this to cover a new credenza I had just purchased for $2200 for my entryway so that my family didn't scratch up the finish. I thought this was a great idea and absolutely loved the fact that it was clear. After about a month or so I took this covering off to dust underneath and what I found was that the backing had left a film, like sticky stuff, all over the top of the finish. I have a furniture repair man coming out to look at it but he said he most likely can't do anything about it without damaging the finish. What a nightmare! I waited my whole life for a piece of furniture like this and now I can't afford to purchase another one. I take care of my stuff and this should have been part of my forever furniture.

We got this to protect our new maple table from our toddler's cutlery. We had it on for a few weeks. I lifted the protector to clean some debris around the edges, and it seems to have damaged the stain on the table. There are strips of the table now where the finish is duller, as if contact with the protector partially lifted the stain. Needless to say, we didn't put it back on our table. Because we had it on for several weeks, we are past the return window, and I'm not sure how to ask for a refund.

We made the mistake of trusting the predominantly positive reviews on this product. I can’t encourage you enough if you are contemplating it yourself to pay particular attention to the negative reviews, because now that we’ve read them, we realize we could have saved ourselves a tremendous amount of hassle and a ruined table. It’s like an O Henry tale- we were so concerned about protecting the beautiful surface of our new dining nook table that we bought a cover for it, only to damage it specifically because of that cover, and in a way that the warranty provider refuses to honor because it was “non accidental” (in that we covered it with this “protective” sheet). The prevention was worse than any wear and tear we would have possibly accumulated.As everyone else notes, this cheap and shoddy grade of plastic transfers a permanent sticky patina to your table, discoloring it, making it look sodden and stained, and proving completely resistant to any attempts at removing the transfered funk.If you are in search of a way to permanently disfigure your table with a full surface stain that will cause napkins, dust, and everything else that might cross it to permanently adhere to it, you are in luck. This product will do all of that. I suppose it could have some use among the cruel and vengeful as a seemingly well intentioned gift that will actually inflict damage on their furniture, but if you have a genuine interest in actually protecting and preserving your furniture, run as fast and as far away as you can from this atrocious product. It will absolutely ruin your table, and it will likely do so in a way that no warranty will cover, so you’ll be throwing that money away too.I added a picture to demonstrate the difference in the permanent plastic residue left on the table’s surface vs the intact leaf that had been stored underneath. Nothing has managed to make a dent in this horrible crud, from Goo Gone Professional to various oils to Mohawk Wax Wash. This awful cover is so egregiously bad and damaging that we have no choice but to completely refinish the table.

Ours is used almost like a screen protector for our marble countertop, this covering really protects from every day usage and potential spills. Marble is very sensitive to staining and with a five-year-old we needed to protect it as much as possible. We are planning to buy another piece for our dry bar so that when our guests come over they can pour their drink there without having to worry about wine spilling and staining of the marble. The clear plastic allows you to still appreciate the color of the marble! We would highly suggest this for anyone!!!

I have labeled this the "Best Ever" because hopefully you can see from the photo of our gaming table, taken when the cover first arrived today, that there are NO WRINKLES!!!!! It arrived just as they said it would in the round! It is not folded and jammed into some small packaging. It was rolled, in a cover and in a large, long box. All we had to do was take it out of the protective covering it was rolled into and lay it on the table. It was hard to get a picture without a lot of glare because the table has a light over it. I didn't want to wait until daylight because I was anxious to give the Sellers a RAVE review of their product and it's condition upon receipt. Most of us know the routine. Order a table cloth and you have to press to get out the wrinkles. Well, this was going to be a clear vinyl cover for protecting the gaming surface so wrinkles would have been horrible. The material is thick and the cut (I ordered 36" to match our table top) is perfect! It fits right to the edge and looks so clean you cannot tell there is a protective cover over the table. It does not slip around so we are 110% satisfied with this purchase! This will allow the wood to show thru and look every bit as nice as it does uncovered and will keep it looking that way for a very, very long time. If you're able to enlarge the picture to look at it the only lines you see are actually the wood grain showing thru! Love, love this purchase. This is the company I will go to if I ever have the need again for this kind of coverage. I am very happy that I purchased this clear plastic table cover. I measured the size of the table and then ordered. It fits perfectly on my dining table. It’s about 1.5mm thick. Protect from scratch and high temperature heat damage. My kids do homework on the dining table. Before purchase the plastic table cover, I am always worry that kids will scratch the table, no worry at all. It’s easy too clean. Very Satisfied with the purchase.

Was looking for a while for good looking cover for a smaller table and that was it. Fits just expected and works well. Not as fancy looking as a glass cover would but also cost less and more practical considering it's weight, pliability, and no noise when placing glass/ china objects. Very good product.
