I bought this to replace one I bought a few weeks ago. The old one used a flat battery which I put in NEW. It started to wear down after only a few weeks so I looked for a thermometer which uses AA round batteries. I am very pleased with this thermometer as it displays both max/min temp and humidity. Crucially, it is still functioning after a few weeks. I will NEVER again buy a product that uses flat batteries as they do not last.

For an "in the moment" temp and humidity it works fine. However, it has a high and low for each output. ... Problem is , the unit resets occasionally so you no longer know upper and lower limit. This morning, humidity low 43, high 57. ... Great. But as per photo it's reset and now only has a narrow band. Another photo added to show that in the , before reset, this item clearly works and shows the range of data. Good , but I wish it would retain it's data.

Pretty amazing value. I use it in my conservatory, and the numerals are very crisp and clear. I will see how the battery lasts, and edit this if there is a problem. It is very well made for the low price, and seems robust, and has already been dropped several time by inquisitive fingers.
