High quality, really good price
These are really good mussels for the price. I'd honestly compare them with Patagonia mussels, the quality is good and they're meticulously packed in rows of four for good consistency from can to can. The mussels are all similar size, each is of course a little different but they're all roughly the same. The smoke doesn't really taste like smoke to me, but there's definitely something other than just olive oil flavoring them - either way they taste great. The insides do have a bit of a mealy texture, but I actually kind of like it, and it's nothing surprising for anyone who has had mussels before. The meat of the mussel is plump and firm, not rubbery *at all*. I find the satiety from a can to be fairly high, which is good considering the calorie density is also quite high likely mostly owing to the oil that they're packed in. The quality to price ratio alone makes these 5 star mussels, and a few things make them uniquely great.

Highly recommend; tastes great, feels good, has big mussels, and costs less.
I really enjoy mussels and dishes with them, like seafood pasta and Belgian mussel soup. Usually, I go to Publix for fresh mussels because they're known for quality. But now that I've tried these smoked mussels, I might not need to buy mussels from Publix anymore. The main reason is that the smoky taste isn't too strong. Also, the texture is nice and chewy, like fresh mussels. Plus, each piece of mussel is big, maybe even bigger than Publix's. And the price is way lower (but natural because it's canned food). I'll definitely keep using these smoked mussels in my cooking unless I'm making something that doesn't go well with mussels in oil. It's a great alternative!

Fine but not great
The smokey flavor of these Otter Kingdom mussels is great! And I love that they are packed in olive oil. However, they are a little bland (no salt) so you have to season them when you open the tin. And the mussels are quite small and chewy. The oysters from this brand are much better. But I do appreciate that each can is 13 grams of protein. I will have no problem finishing all 12 cans, however I likely will not reorder them. They are fine, but not great.

Tasty, and somewhat good for you
I love these smoked mussels, especially on woven wheat crackers. If you like Otter smoked oysters you'll probably enjoy these mussels. And they a product of South Korea, not that "other" nearby place (if that is important to you).

Not as Good as other brands
I found these very tasteless, and bland. I would never order these again.

Overcooked
They are fairly overcooked. Kind of infuriating NGL.
