its ok 'for a bit' but then its rotational hinge fails and the roation (landscape / portrait) is driven by gravity .. ud expect more for the money

Build quality is great. Always dubious about things like this, as sometimes trying to move and readjust is either too flimsy, or too tight, which means you cant reposition the iPad as and when you need to reposition it. The magnets are nice and strong as well. No worries this will fall off, unless you are purposely trying to make it fall off. Only real wish, after having it for a few weeks, is that. it had a built in charger, so when it was on the stand, you could plug this in at the base, keep the cables nice and tidy, and then charge it whilst using it.

I really wanted to love this product as it would work perfectly as a monitor stand for my iPad to be used in conjunction with my Mac mini / iPad setup. Unfortunately the magnets there to support that iPad struggle to hold my new iPad Pro which is the lightest and thinnest model they have ever made. Concerns me given this model is listed as compatible.

A tad disappointed as it says it has 6 strong magnets but there are only 4 . There are no magnets in the center position of the flat panel. Everything else is great though, its sleek and does what it say on the box.
