Reliable, affordable name brand SSD for backups and everyday Use!
I picked up this up to use as an external drive for me and my wife's MacBooks; mainly for Time Machine backups and general file storage. Paired with a USB 3.0 enclosure, it’s been a solid upgrade from using older/slower external hard drives. Setting it up was super easy—formatted it to APFS using Disk Utility, and it was ready to go in minutes. Transfer speeds are solid for a SATA SSD, averaging high 400MB/s when moving large files. It’s not the fastest SSD out there, but for backups, media storage, and everyday file transfers, it’s more than enough and it's getting the job done!

Durable and great quality
The drive was very easy to install and works great. It’s very quiet which is good because I didn’t want my laptop making a lot of noise. I would recommend getting it to fix your device

Solid so far- works out of the box reliably
I initially bought a slightly cheaper drive by a brand I don’t know. Totally didn’t work. Tried various things but it was just a bad drive. Read a bit and found good info on hp drives, and this worked perfectly on an older MacBook Pro from 2009, 2011, and another 2012. Works internally or externally with usb-to-sata adapter- no troubles at all. Speedy, good space, just overall a superior experience. I think it’s worth that extra $5-10. Very solid. Nicely put together. Is it the ultimate speed? I can’t say but far faster than sata hard drives. It’s running on an older machine but is a great upgrade, and really improved overall usability on those laptops. I’ve only used a month but so far it’s great. Zero complaints. Even arrived next morning 7am. Edit: used this for several months now on a machine used for transferring and processing 2-8GB files, it has been quite reliable and speedy. No complaints. Though it’s not the cheapest drive, it is rock solid and reliable thus far. I consider it was worth the $5-10 difference as I have had two other drives from other unknown brands fail or simply not function. If you need a drive to drop in that you know will work, function reliably and perform well, this is it.

Didnt fit my HP laptop
Once I bought it I was told it was the wrong size for my laptop, so I gifted ig to a computer repair shop to repair the laptop of someone else strapped for casb. The tech was moved to tears anx gifted me $100 as I left because he knows I live paycheck to paycheck myself. I am sure it works fine as HP products are reliable, and it would have been too much hassle to send it back to the seller in China, so I am happy with my decision to pay it forward to someone in need.

Nice Upgrade
It appears well built and is very lightweight. I just got it installed yesterday, upgrading from a hdd, but it has already substantially increased the computers speed. It took some homework to figure out how to get it to work, but that’s user error and not an issue of the drive itself. I have nothing bad to say about it. I first upgraded from 8gb to 16gb of ram. My old laptop worked better, but not great. Once I got this working, it was night and day. The performance increase per dollar between the two upgrades is so incredibly worth it on my older machine. I wouldn’t game on it, but at least it’s usable again!

reliable drives
I have three of these running as the boot/main drive in a Proxmox cluster in a production environment. They have been running for just over 2 years. No problems (knock on wood) so far.

I bought this HP S750 SSD to replace my old laptop PC hard disk about three months ago. After initial setup , I havent used it for a long time. Today when I try to use this PC again and found it's unable to boot up. After checking the BIOS setting, found the hard disk size became 1GB already.

I have ordered for HP 1TB SSD but received lesser cappacity HP 250GB SSD with fake labled as 1TB SSD on cover, invoice, and also on the product it is labled and printed as 1TB SSD. I didt expect this kind of cheating from HP or HP dealers. I am returning it now and ordered Samsung 870 QVO 1TB.

By far the best HP product besides Western Digital. Fast and reliable I only wish it came in 4TB so far they only carry 2TB but I bought 4TB Western Digital Blue which is just as good.
