I was so excited to see a package of more than just 5 or 9 dorayaki, I bought 2. Wrong. Wrong choice.The pancakes are dry, crumbly, tasteless even. The filling is good, but hardly enough to cover for the pancakes problems. Eating with my morning green tea improved them, so they didn't go to waste. I just wish they were the size of the bigger 9pack size instead of this, this pathetic mini-mini dorayaki.

Most of the ones in the store are bigger. Purchased this bc snack size. Arrived on time and in great condition. Unfortunately, there was a date printed on the bag and on each individually packaged item with a date of 11/18/2023. No other date so wasn't sure if expiration date or production date. The pancake around filling was stiff, not pillowy soft. As was my first experience, I don't know if supposed to be this texture or old. Not moldy or anything but date was disconcerting as purchased in April 2024.

They idea was great but the product needed more quantity of red bean in the pancakes. The taste was vague but with more would have tasted great.

I didn't enjoy these. They were hard and dry as if they were stale, yet still had 3 months of their 6 month shelf life.I did like that they were individually packaged.I will not buy again.
