Fantasic Product!

Tool for the job.
Worked really well. The all in one construction means hammering the nails out doesn’t damage the tool. Would have given five starts in the handle was a little wider. Hit my finger a couple of times today :(

Good piece of kit
If you have got some roof slate repairs to be done this is an essential piece of kit, I'm glad I bit that bit extra for it and its all metal construction is good for a tool that will take a bit of hammering.

Great piece of kit
Had some roof repairs to do and the you video I watched said slate ripper would be needed. Amazon had a few to choose from and this was one of the most expensive. Glad I went for this. the one piece forged design really took some punishment as had to remove many more tiles than expected. I expect this product to last very well and am almost looking forward to doing some more repairs :-)

Poor quality steel
The slate rip worked great until the handle snapped off. Looks like it’s not been forged correctly and made the handle brittle. I welded it back on and now it works fine.

Perfect.
I needed a slate ripper for my own roof, as I am getting ready to repair it. The Slate Ripper is solid and well made. The surface is a little rough, but the build is strong. I haven't used it yet, but it does say life time guarantee on it, so I'm fairly confident.

Great tile repair tool
Long strong and down to get the friction on!No really it’s great for shingle repair. It’s a bit longer than my Dasco bar, completely flat, with a round handle.

I bought this for my boyfriend because he is fixing my slate roof. He said it is very easy to use and gives him a good reach

This tool will not grab or cut the nail heads.
The part that is suppose to hook the nail head so that you can cut the head off ,is to thick and not sharp at all. For the cost it was not a good purchase.

One piece solid construction.
Fit the bill for removing slate shingles, need to hit with hammer when removing nails, held up very well.
