Excellent value. I use them for making hydrogen water. You just put one of these in a bottle of water. The water will need to have something added to make it reactive, such as a little bit of citric acid. Worked good for me

This is exactly as described, it arrived as promised, appears to be well made, and a good value for the money I just wish they would put a packing slip in the package. This came in the manufacturers packaging 👍 The packaging was plain brown cardboard 👍 Limited or no plastic 👍 No polystyrene foam (styrofoam) 👍👍

Id give it 0 stars if I could. Not magnesium at all. Doesnt burn or spark. Pretty sure it's aluminum

This is not lab grade. Very fun to use as a campfire starter, the cylindrical shape is pretty cool too. Works about as well as any other magnesium firestarter. However, after getting the weight of it, it wasn't completely pure...which is to be expected. it's not lab grade.

Hard to shave given magnesium is a soft metal. Not so sure about the 99.9% purity... Maybe mixed with aluminium. I've had high quality mg blocks that were much softer and gave nice little ribbons when shaved and worked better. Running these bars through a grinder for sprinkles. Won't be back for more.

Very good magnesium rods i assume it an alloy. I made magnesium Graphite batteries with them.

Improper description. Based on machining and burn behavior, this appears to be an unspecified magnesium alloy, not 99% pure magnesium as advertised. When heated, chips melt and oxidize rather than producing the intense white combustion characteristic of near-pure magnesium.

This is not 99.99% purity. Do not trust this seller.

Complete junk. Can’t get it to throw a spark no matter what I use as a striker. Doesn’t even seem like it’s magnesium, I think it’s aluminum. Way too light weight. Avoid this trash, now I have to go through the bother of returning it, not because I need the few bucks it cost, but because I don’t want them to get away with selling falsely advertised products.
