best quality prunes
These are by far the best organic prunes available. Yes, they are moist and sticky, but that is because they are fresh. The flavor is as good as you can expect. The only downside is Amazon's subscribe and save pricing. It is always a good deal the first time, then they jack the price up for subsequent automatic delivries. This is a constant ocurrence for all of my subscribe and save items, most of which I have cancelled for this reason.

Sticky mess
These prunes tasted 'off' and were a sticky, mushy mess. They clump together and stick to you. Have plenty of napkins on hand if you plan to eat with your fingers. Unfortunately, I purchased a box of them. The flavor is barely ok if I put them in a smoothie to mask their taste.

Explosively great!
These little guys were like a hand grenade inside my colon. I was practically levitating over the toilet as I blasted out my life's entire reserves of human waste. I don't think I'll ever need to poo again after that fateful adventure with the porcelain launch pad.On a more realistic note, my mother ordered these on my account and said they're delicious.

Great prunes; astronomical price increases
Wow, I love these prunes. I even give them to a couple of my dogs who have anal gland issues or other lower gastronomical problems from time to time. These are FAR better than the ones you get at the store with additives like sulfur dioxide (food preservative) which are BAAAAAD for you, especially if you have athsma or some sulfite sensitivity/allergy.In Dec '13 I paid $34.75 for this (12 packs of 6 oz. each). In April I paid $37.60. Now we're close to Sept '14, and they're $43.47. I'm terrible at figuring percentages (math in general really; I know, it's embarrassing - thank God for calculators), but managed to find an online calculator to help me figure out what kind of increase we're talking about here, and keep in mind, that we're not even 3/4 of a year yet since I first started buying these. Brace yourself; it's a 25% increase since I bought my first case in December. TWENTY-FIVE PERCENT! In about 8 months. Ridiculous. Was it a bad year for plums??? I haven't been paying much attention to crop reports. Maybe prunes are in very high demand this year? I don't know. Anyhow, I did a little shopping around, and found that 12 oz. canisters in a pack of 12 (at that big blue store that starts with "W") were $69, which is .48/oz., as opposed to .60/oz. for this Amazon offer.Lastly, you can safely freeze these for a time to help them last longer since buying in bulk is so economical these days.

Yummy Moist Prunes
If you like nice moist prunes, you will love these. We like them better than the bulk organic prunes at our local market because they are moist and taste better ...to us anyway :) If you need prunes in your diet my husband and I recommend these
