Thick and Durable
This 14.5” x 11” piece of shoe repair material can easily resole my favorite pair of flip flops. Be careful in your selection of cement for affixing a new sole to your footwear. (Don’t go with the cheap stuff. Save money by providing your own labor, but not by choosing inferior materials.) DIY shoe repair can be a big money saver, but only if you know the basics and avoid screwing up your favorite pair of shoes.

Cost effective shoe repair
This is a nice quality, flexible rubber shoe bottom for DIY repair. It cuts easily with a utility knife, though scissors would work fine. The piece of rubber is large enough for multiple pairs of shoes and it’s cheaper by far than a trip to the cobbler.
