I bought this for my Goldendoodle (Queso) and it works great for that purpose. It's the only brush that really gets out loose hairs caught in his coat. But this thing really shines with our two long haired Maine Coons. It works like magic! One pass takes out enough loose hair to make a sweater (The picture shows a relatively low amount collected from the cat). The first time I used it I thought I'd shaved a patch off of the cat so many hairs came off. We're vacuuming half as much there's so much less hair around the house. The cats love being brushed by it, the dog not so much. His curly hair gets pulled a little.

I've had a golden doodle for 4 years and am embarrassed that I didn't have one of these sooner.It pulls mats from my dog's coat much better than any brush I've used before, plus it seems more comfortable for my dog. He requires less bribing when using this brush vs standard ones.The hair cleans off fairly easily, and overall the build quality seems good. With the ease of use, performance, and quality, I would say this is good value for the money!

I have several detangler combs and this one works very well on my doodle’s tail! It’s not really small enough for new mats starting to tangle on shorter areas of her coat or tight spaces, however. A tiny version with sharper blades on one side would be ideal. It’s very sturdy and easy to grasp.

It came in quick and work as they should.

After struggling with mats on my golden doodle, I discovered this tool. Working with a detangler spray, it does an awesome job at removal and leaving the hair looking great.
