Greatest Idol

After my last trip to Japan I bought myself the 'Tell your World' album from iTunes and immediately regretted not buying a Miku album while there as a memento. If you are a fan of Japanese music and/or Hatsune Miku, I highly recommend this as not a single track will disappoint you. At first, when I found this on Amazon, I thought the price was a little high, but considering I had bought all my other Vocaloid Albums as digital copies, I had just assumed that it was because it was a physical CD that I was buying direct from Japan. But in retrospect, the price was bang on, not only did I receive the music CD, DVD with music videos (NTSC Format) and a very fancy, multi page colour printed track listing with full colour images, it also came in a brilliantly printed large presentation folder, about the size of an old vinyl record (I work at a print firm so I should know what awesome print looks like). This isn't something that I see much of these days and I am really impressed by the effort that they went through to make this. Again, if you are a Fan of Miku's or someone who wants to start listening to, as the album name states, 'The Greatest Idol, then I'd definitely start here.

Hatsune Miku, una de mis cantantes favoritas (si no es que la unica jaja) y este disco definitivamente refuerza esa opinion, el gran realismo con el cual Mitchie M produce sus canciones y mejora la voz de Miku es soberanamente bello y genial, ese toque de musica electronica e instrumentos clasicos junto con unas liricas que saltan de un lado a otro con un ritmo agradable. la presentacion del disco es simplemente hermosa, es casi como abrir nostalgia de la epoca dorada del Vocaloid. en cuanto al DVD incluido, al parecer tiene region lock (tuve que reproducirlo en una ps2) es de tipo 2, por lo cual ten a la mano un reproductor con region free o uno con region tipo 2. se que existe youtube y todo eso, pero de vez en cuando amerita escuchar las canciones en su mas claro exponente. 10/10

Gran album como siempre , y ademas esta presentado en un cover de lujo del tamaño de los discos de vinil, estoy realmente contenta con mi nueva adquisicion ,trae dos discos un cd y un dvd , soy gran fan de Miku y como tal no podia faltar esa joya , si te gusta vocaloid este disco sin duda te encantara :D

Mitchie M hat es geschafft das Miku sich wie ein Mensch anhört. Ich liebe die Musik von Mitchie M. Man kann die meissten der Lieder auch auf Youtube und Soundcloud hören, ich wollte jetzt aber endlich mal eine CD und bin begeistert.Zusätzlich ist noch eine DVD enthalten die einige Musikvideos enthält.

今回は、長嶋さんに、このアルバムについて、語っていただきます。　「みなさん、どうも。長嶋です。いつも応援してくれて、どうもありがとう。では、わたしが好きな、この初音ミクを聴いてください・・え、わたくしの健康状態が、すぐれないって？ああ、あれはー、プリティちゃんですネ。ちょっと、わたくしの身代わりに、影武者になってもらいました。　この、初音ミクのアルバムですけれども、今までクラシック音楽一辺倒だった、わたくしが、初めて手にした、J-POP のアルバムですよー。今まで、ＰＣのYouTube で、ウォークマン用のステレオイヤホンで聴いていましたが、このアルバムのＣＤを、初めて、某DE社のミニコンポで音出ししてみたところ、ＰＣで聴くのより、断然、良いです。わたくしは、その音質を聴いて、思わず「やったー！」と、快哉（かいさい）の声をあげました。　このアルバムですけれども、レコード会社は、ソニーです。まあ、Mitche M さんの、元々のミックスダウンも優れていた、と思いますが、レコード会社の入念な、音声調整、いわゆるリマスターも施されているのでしょう。　大型スピーカーでも聴いてみましたが、こんどは、低音が軽いんです。ソニーの初めての平面振動板スピーカーで、「APM-8」と言う大型スピーカーが、ありました。定価・百万円×２本＝２百万円でしたが、これが低音が、全然、軽い。口の悪いステレオ・マニアが、「これは一本、定価十数万円のスピーカーの音」と、酷評していましたが、このアルバムは、大型スピーカーで聴いても、まるで「APM-8」のように、低音が軽いです。重低音が、体感できないんですよ。　まあ、このアルバムは、ミニコンポや、コンパクト・スピーカーで聴くと、聞こえが良いように、リマスターされている模様です。　それにしても、この音を聴いていると、ソニーの信濃町スタジオの、トム・ヒドレー氏のモニタースピーカーの音質が聴こえる、と思えるのは、わたくしの、気のせいだけでしょうか。　あ、今の石毛クンの、内角高め、ナイスですよー。ただ、石毛クンは、もっと牛乳を飲んだ方がイイんですよね。　ところで、このアルバムで、私の好きなのは、「アイドルを咲かせ」「愛Dee」「ビバハピ」と言ったナンバーです。これに、「ニュース39」も入っていたらば、文句なしですが、そちらは、Mitche M さんの、2ndアルバム「バーチャル　ポップスター」に入っているので、まあ、良いでしょう。その一方で、「会津」のような、落ち着いた、いぶし銀の曲も入っていて、アルバムとしての完成度は、高いんですよ。　この「グレイテスト・アイドル」と言う、クリエイター・Mitche Mさんの、1stアルバムは、Mitche Mさんに、関心をよせる人にとってのファースト・チョイスになるだけでは無く、ボカロ音楽に、興味を持った人が、初めて手にする、初音ミクのアルバムとしても、向いています。」

It comes in a fantastic, very well made case/book that's so big I coulda sworn I ordered a vinyl by accident. The art on and inside the cover is very nice, highly detailed and aesthetically appealing.Inside you'll find 2 discs and an art/lyrics book. The first disc is a CD with all of the music, which is all very high quality and worked fine. The second disc is a DVD with several music videos on it. The DVD is unfortunately region locked, so you need either a special DVD player or software running on a PC to view it. There is a small book inside (very high quality) featuring lyrics to all of the songs (in Japanese, of course) that comes with some nice art in it.Of course, if you're buying this you probably already know that the music is fantastic, some of the best the Vocaloid scene has to offer.
