Good price, works perfectly for what I needed. Makes it much easier working with the hose clamps on my Harley. Far better than trying to use pliers, and they clamp doesn't go flying off into space if you're not careful. They work.

I got this because the air intake system in my 2012 Golf has those really strong hose clamps on the four inch air intake parts. I have to handle those clamps to free up the engine cover which houses the air filter. This kind of pliers is much better than a regular pliers set because it has locking ratchet design. You un do the clamp and can hold onto that setting until you release the ratchet. This allows you much easier handling of these powerful hose clamps. Also there are slits on the swiveling tooth on one side of the plier device, which typically can engage the hole usually found on one side of this type of clamp. It's built well, is lockable, and has design elements which make this task easier.

These worked great when I was working on my motorcycle's cooling system. The "cups" held well, and tool isn't overly bulky nor flimsy.

This is one of those tools that you never use enough to justify having... but wish you did every time you need them. THEN... once you get them, you wonder why you waited so long! Mine was always price, but I've gotten a few different sets of these Duratech tools now and I'm starting to like them. I think they are well made and seem to hold up. I don't use them daily, but more than most. This set in particular was a good value and made me bit the bullet and finally get a pair - and I'm sure glad I did. They work great and make the job soooo much faster.
