Q: Is the color of these cream or white?

They are slightly on the cream side. Not a stark white, but more of a very light cream. I really like mine.

Q: Are there stickers (or whatever) to cover the unsightly screw/nail heads?

Yes, and once but on you really have to look to find where they are. Match very well and flat. Not like those plastic buttons that stick out on other put together furniture. I really like these tables.
