More than enough computer for the typical user. I use mine for a bit more than that and it performs well. I've done some heavy editing of photographs and it gave no problems. The 40GB of memory helps with that. Just check the specs and make sure it will fit YOUR needs. I do like ThinkPad's!

Completing my setup and so far all appears to be great. Had to search a bit to find how to turn on the backlit keyboard (Fn + spacebar) and didn't initally see the box containing the power cord. Speed much better than my previous laptop. After using it a while I'll update my review if I happen to find any issues.

Terrible experience, if you really want this PC buy it from the manufacturer, PCOnline sold us a faulty machine and has been completely unresponsive to our inquiries. The PC worked for the first few weeks then got stuck in a boot loop due to a faulty driver. PCOnline would not assist since it was believed to be a warranty issue so we contacted Lenovo and sent them the machine. After their diagnostics it was discovered this PC was sold to us with a faulty driver but Lenovo would not cover it since they deemed it was damaged by the seller or us (we are not hardware people and have never opened this machine). PCOnline has since been completely unresponsive and we’ve had to pay over $300 to get this machine back up and running. Terrible experience, If you are not a computer person DO NOT BUY A COMPUTER FROM A 3RD PARTY SELLER.

This makes my Dell Inspiron look like a toy! It even has a number pad! It did not have a lot of useless programs pre-installed so it was a lot easier to prepare for serious use. It has lots of RAM and a huge SS hard drive for the price. This is probably the best built laptop I have ever owned or used and as former IT director I have had quite a few. It certainly has the best laptop keyboard I have ever put my grubby little fingers on. Worth every penny! Its speaker ain't nothing to write home about, but I use headphones anyway. I have switched my allegiance from Dell to Lenovo. Bravo! Well built and designed! This was the first computer I have been happy buying in a long time.

Runs very well.Only negative (and for me it's at least a one-star deduction) is the backlit keyboard is just not very bright. Great fingerprint reader.This was one of the reasons i chose this ThinkPad (beside the red dot).I have macular degeneraton and the backlit is just not bright enough. I touch type for most stuff, but I need it for the number and top rows. I had to order some white keyboard stick-ons on Amazon (they work very well).The fingerprint reader/login is absolutely fabulous - works way better than my S9 phone.16GB/512GB no touch pad

Needed a business laptop for travel -- this is great -- has all the features needed

Bought this computer as a home computer. Some streaming, mostly email and light home office type uses. It has been perfect. Crisp display and easy to connect HDMI to second monitor. Very fast start-up - compares very favorably to the much more expensive model i use for work that sits right next to it. Very good choice medium level home use.
