This turned out to be more than it looks like. It's a good value and the price is right. They have some weight to them. And they are a decent size. It's fun to play with these. They are dense and powerful. Not soft at all. Glad I got these.

I bought these because they're cheaper than paintballs and I wanted the boys in our Trail Life troop to have some practice for a contest they'll be in. Thankfully I tested them first. I've been shooting at plywood from about 20-30 feet away. I'm having pieces fly right back and past me at times. The boys wouldn't be pulling back so hard I'm sure so they might not break at all and just bounce back. I think it's good to consider how far you'll be from targets and who will be shooting. I was thinking these would break up really well on impact and not send so much back at me. 4 stars because of this. I'd still recommend as long as you consider these things... still a nice product and still a lot cheaper than paintballs. Just wear eye protection if you're in range of the shrapnel/ricochet.

Works great, fired off a bunch of this into various targets around the house and property. Flies like heck and smacks like good ammo should. I guess its biodegradable but I could never find it again so it must have soaked into the ground. Very shootable and seems pretty consistent. Would recommend and would get again.

My sons and I really got into slingshots about 2 years ago. When looking around and trying different kinds of ammo, we have solidly landed on this type. The clay is hard and compostable which makes it ideal for plinking around in the back yard or in the woods. This is purely for target shooting...not for hunting. While the rounds are solid, they can crush easily especially on hard targets (which is what they are designed for). I have read other reviews and kinda shake my head. I am not going to bother counting all these to make sure they are precisely bagged. I would imagine these are bagged by weight and not physical counts, but I'm not the professional pellet counter, so I could be wrong. In any event, these are well worth the money, easy to use and will provide hours of fun with your slingshots. **Some of them are not "perfectly" round. That's ok. Shoot them anyway or crush them up. If you are looking to real accuracy and perfection of materials, perhaps look at steel shot instead. They are a bit more pricey, of course, but make refining your accuracy more efficient as well as potential hunting capability.

Worka great for walking through the woods and growing in skill

9 mm I would believe (I measured 0.36"). I measured because they didn't look 3/8" (0.375). They'll probably be a little small for my slingshot. I like something the size of a marble, but these are made of clay. Should be better in that respect. Also, may be closer to 400 per bag.
