February 2022 update: this meditation cushion is still in excellent condition. I’ve had it nearly 2 years. It’s greatly improved my journey to meditate. I was a beginner & I feel due to this cushion it truly helped my posture to meditate comfortably & feel balanced. I suffer from lower back pain & this cushion has gotten me in a position, when it’s meditation time, to adjust my posture properly & to mediate pain-free. You’d think after all this time the cushion would be squished but it’s not. It shows the quality. I’ve taken good care of it. I love how the gray covering can be taken off to launder. I wash on the hand wash cycle on cold & hang to dry. It’s still in wonderful condition. This is truly one of the greatest gifts to myself. True longevity. I love it. I feel you will too :) Original review: I began meditation about 2 months ago. Finding a comfortable position anywhere wasn’t ideal. In realizing there are meditation cushions :) I began to browse amazon. I found this cushion & loved the design & description of it. The reviews were wonderful & I went with it. What a major change it’s been for me since having it. The cushion is plush with a velvet like soft material. It’s durable & sturdy for my body. Very solid. I’m 160lbs, 5’6” & there’s plenty of room for more. It’s full & a bit heavy which reflects the quality of it. It’s so comfortable to sit on. It’s design is of a perfect balance for my body posture. It’s such a comfort for meditating & I find myself going to it for a break in the day. It’s become my favorite new piece of “furniture.” The color gray is much darker than the picture shows but I love it along with the comforting white design on top. There’s a sturdy handle for carrying it as well. It’s been a life changer when I meditate. It was well worth what I paid. Due to the quality I foresee the cushion lasting a long time. I definitely recommend!

I purchased it for one of my friends. She does meditate daily and loved this cushion alot. Its so comfy and soft to meditate longer time, supports the posture as well. Quality i soo good and easy ti carry. Best one for those who meditate longer hours at one place.

I got the cushion as well as the mat. I'm not sure who likes it more, me or my kitty💓 I find it comfortable for meditation, and I appreciate being able to move the buckwheat around.

Update: I added a star for customer service. The seller contacted me and offered a refund. Very nice. I added the husks and put another flat pillow under it and it is the right height for me and will do for now, but the offer of a refund when I hadn't even contacted them is really above and beyond. Wow. The pillow is ok but not tall enough to sit the way I learned in my meditation class (in lotus position with knees on the floor, making the body a tripod of sorts), which helps tremendously in keeping the spine straight. I bought some buckwheat hulls to make it taller, as there seemed to be a lot of room left. When I added the hulls I found that the zipper is not nearly large enough to remove the cover for washing. You would have to empty the inner bag of hulls to make it small enough to pull out. This also makes it inconvenient to get to the inner bag to add hulls. That zipper is also small. Had to use a funnel. The pillow is pretty and not uncomfortable. I put another pillow under it to get the height I wanted. If you don't need to sit the way I described, it's a nice pillow - I tried Japanese style and it was quite nice. Also assuming you never want to wash it. Though emptying it to wash and then refilling would be a pretty good exercise in patience.
