This is a superb casserole disk which fits all microwave ovens. You can use it for storing food in the fridge or freezer and 1.6L is a great size for 2 people. I used to use Pyrex but this is so much better - it is more practical, the lid is easier to handle, and it looks very stylish on the table - top marks for looks. I have knocked or dropped the lid a few times with no breakages. Warning : when you order it, on reception immediately check it for hairline breaks due to mishandling in transport or the factory. I bought this 4 times but my second purchase came with a difficult to detect hairline fissure in the lid straight out of the box. Thankfully it was instantly replaced by Amazon.

Well made and does the job

This casserole dish meets the description exactly. However the fact that it has no brim makes it a little awkward to use, especially when it hot off the oven.

Not used yet, but arrived very well and thoughtfully packaged. Quite pretty and solid looking glass dishes. Lids fit well and they will look very attractive when put directly on the table from the oven. I ordered both the 2l and 3l versions. The shape and size will make them very versatile with lots of different uses in the kitchen. I like the handle on the lid as it should be easier to safely get hold of it through an oven glove when they are hot from the oven. The 3l would probably hold a small/med chicken. I hope they do the job.

Very handy when everything was packed away, small handy for two adults

The lid sits unevenly and rattles when either corners are lightly pressed; there's no rattle when the lid is upside down but there are no grooves or anything to keep it steady, but that's okay for a lid being upside down. It's the fact that it rattles being the right way up is why I've returned it. The other thing I'll comment on is that I have many borosilicate glass containers and a lot of them have these wavey patterns on the bottom (but on the outside, not inside). I don't know what they are but they look like imperfections and perhaps wouldn't be present in a premium brand of glass. The lid of this casserole has these grooves all over the top of the lid (on the outside) can feel them with your fingers. Just checked my Pyrex casserole and it has some of these marks but much less and they're smaller/fainter/less etched. But while feeling both dishes in my hand, the Pyrex one felt much thicker (it also has a blueish tint to it, don't know what it is). My opinion at the moment is that this is vastly overpriced because I paid 6 quid for a Pyrex one (from ASDA) and the lid on it sits nice and solid, and bigger versions of it selling on Amazon much cheaper than this casserole.

I bought this because, unlike many Pyrex dishes, it doesn't have handles on the side so it fits in my microwave without the handles catching on the side as it rotates. I like that it has a lid. Very happy with it.

I first bought two of them and i loved it then i ordered two more. I always make cheese and yogurt at home and these are perfect for it as it has a proper lid. Good for cooking, for cheese and yogurt, for salad and for more. They looks strong as well. I love them and i recommend it.
