It's interesting. Sometimes product effectiveness has more to do with usage than manufacturing quality. I've used a number of diamond tools for cutting, grinding, shaping concrete, stone, tile, etc. The first one of these blades I used, I used it dry. Not to my surprise, it wore out quickly. And I knew that anyway but it wasn't convenient to water lubricate in my application. (I was using a corded tool and I preferred not to get electrocuted.) So then, I decided to water lubricate anyway. And as expected, not only did these blades cut exceptionally well but they barely showed signs of wear. Also, not only that but I accidentally cut a slot in my tile even though they suggest it's not suitable for that purpose. But diamond tools are diamond tools and there's very little they won't cut if used properly. Anyway, these blades are great. The only limitation which has nothing to do with the manufacturer is that this arc shape just can't cut into inside corners (like in a shower pan). For that you'll need a different tool or blade. Satisfied with these things!

This is one of the best products I have bought on Amazon. I had been using a manual Grout rake and this makes removing grout MUCH easier and cleaner. 5 stars!

I purchased these to install a recessed receptacle in the brick facade of my home. The quality seems very good as this blade cuts brick and mortar really well and lasts a long time. My only complaint is the length of these blades. This isn't necessarily a fault of the blade, but 3" is not enough to get through a complete brick without the tool bottoming out against the face of the brick. I ended up cutting as deep as I could and then had to use a hammer and chisel to chip out the rest. A 4" or 5" blade would have been perfect. For that reason alone I rated it down one star. Just make sure these are long enough for the job you are doing. I think these would work really well for grout and tiles.

DONT BUY THE NAME BRAND BLADES FROM HOME DEPOT OR LOWES!!! These worked great. I removed grout from around 1,000 sq ft of tile (20" by 20" tile). I went through all 5 blades in a variety pack and had to buy this set of 4 to finish the job and went through three more. So it took 7-8 blades BUT I also bought one single blade from Home Depot, a Milwaukee Diamond MAX for $29.97!!! I thought maybe these Amazon blades just suck, but the Milwaukee blade only lasted maybe 25% longer than a single blade from the Amazon pack. Also the first pack I bought had a variety of shaped blade but in my experience these boot shaped blades worked the best for tile grout and getting as close to base boards without actually hitting the base boards. The second pack I bought was this pack of 4, if I could have gone back in time I would have just bought two packs of 4 of just the boot shaped blade.

I suspect I wasn't using them correctly which is the reason I gave 3 stars instead of 1 star. Each blade was quickly ruined on one grout line. Best to keep wet during use which I tried on the last which lasted the longest.

Used this to remove grout on the floor in a 3.5' x 4.5' shower with 3" tiles. I started out using a hand tool which was taking a long time. I purchased this and finished the floor in an hour. One of the best tools I've bought in a long time.

I needed to remove some popping tiles and found these after reading all the positive reviews. The diamond tip does cut through grout like butter. The blade is made of long lasting material. The only issue I have is that albeit it's a universal locking blade, it always slipped off the screw lock in less than 30 seconds of use due to vibrations. Be careful as to not tighten the screw too much as the metal end is thin and will bend. Would I use this product on a daily work site; NO. For a small project, YES.
