I like to used a butt connector slightly bigger than needed , slide onto one wire(I also slide another piece of heat shrink that will fit over this one) . Intertwine the wiring and keep it straight , slide connector over, apply heat to solder joint first after test connection with multi meter, heat shrink rest of connector and slide additional heat shrink over it for additional strength and moisture barrier.

Good for someone like me, who's not that experienced at soldering. They are pretty well made, (thou could use a bit more solder inside!) Product is a good price & decent value, if you take the time to practice a little! These work good, EASY to use, ONCE you get the hang of it! Just don't over or under heat them, practice makes perfect! lol A lot better than regular solder in tight places imho I would recommend these, & will purchase again.

These work well. However you need to be aware of over heating. Make sure all wires are inside the solder ring before heating. Important that you wait longer than you would for the solder to harden if it was not covered by the plastic. It will stay liquid longer and will just fall apart if you move it too soon. After getting use to that it works well and saves a lot of time over soldering wires in the open. I always preferred soldering to crimping but was time consuming and award in some circumstances. I would like to know the melting temperature as they may be an issue in high temperature environments.

Theses things make wiring so much easier and they are a great product. I will buy again.
