Beautiful puzzle. Great picture quality! My mother loved it.

I tried out a few "Ravensburger" puzzles on Amazon, and quickly fell in love with them. They are cut nice and tight, with each union slightly unique, so you know if 2 particular pieces go together. The material is a thick, sturdy cardboard-type paper, which does not easily kink or tear. Also, the images are challenging enough to make you work, while still enjoying the puzzle experience. I never put much thought into the quality of a puzzle until I experienced these and will only buy Ravensburger from now on. This bird pattern was fun to try to figure out, since the feather patterns repeat on each bird, with the colors distributed in interesting ways throughout the image. Great fun!

I recommend puzzles made by this manufacturer. They are excellent quality and will last many years and bring enjoyment over and over. Pick the picture you like and go for it. I highly recommend it. This one had some challenges--enough to make it interesting, This one took me two days by myself.

Während unseres USA-Aufenthalts haben wir einige der abgebildeten Vögel in der Natur gesehen. Gerade die jays haben es uns angetan. Da konnten wir nicht widerstehen als wir das Puzzle entdeckt haben. Mit 500 Teilen ist es auch für uns Eltern nicht zu leicht. Wir puzzlen zusammen seit einigen Tagen mit unseren Kindern. Eine schöne Abwechslung zu anderen Spielen. Gewohnte Ravensburger-Qualität, gewohnt schnelle Lieferung von Amazon.

Lovely puzzle until my granddaughter tried to do it and her pet dog helped! Fortunately my wife had done the puzzle once but usually she likes to do hem two or three times, then pass them on to friends and family. Tis one was spoiled however. Lesson learned to keep them out of reach of four year olds!
