Is there a way to get the chair flat if the power goes out?

There are recargable batteries for power recliners. I do not know if they will work for this chair, you have to look at the wiring.

Yes, the pockets on the front are good, and then there are two on the sides as well. They are not too big, but a remote will fit inside. I love my chair!

What is the height of the back, from the seat?

It's rather small , I'm 5'6" & my heels are right at the end of the recliner. The inner wires are loose & were cut by mechanics under the chair . So my chair is stuck in the air . It's only 4 months old . Only 30 day warranty ;( So I'm out of a $500.00 recliner ;(
