I have ordered so many different timers on Amazon because I have ADHD and my kids and I find Chungking tasks ranging from chores to homework to work to be very effective and not letting time get away from us. So I try to keep some sort of a timer and almost every room of my house. I really like this timer because there's an option to switch the alert to a light that blinks. Other timers that we ordered were very simple and only had one option, which was a loud sound. This one has the option of having a blinking light, sound with a blinking light, a louder, sound, or a lower sound. I like having these options and yet I also like the simplicity of this timer. Also, beep is not annoyingly harsh. I think in the future if I need to order more timers, I will order more of this timer.

This timer works like a dream, it’s accurate, has a back light and I can control the volume. This is the best timer I have ever had. Thank you

Do you lose track of time often? Hyperfixate on projects and forget to eat? Get this baby. The visual countdown is so perfect for studying and working. It helps me take breaks regularly and it keeps me off my phone since it's it's own device. It can be set to glow or use a tone to indicate time expiring so it's also very accessible for those with disabilities and sensory issues and preferences. I hate the tone but the light is perfect. Just enough to grab my attention without being obnoxious. I think I'm looking at straight As this term with this guy on my desk.

The knob is a little small and sometimes difficult for my toddler (3) to turn himself but it’s helping with fine motor skills so I’m not mad at it. The time being colorful is so helpful in teaching him the concept of time. (Look how much blue you have left!) My one small complaint is that it is pretty loud even on the lower volume. But otherwise it’s a great timer for kiddos. Super simple to use and visually appealing.

It worked incredibly well for 3 months and then broke. I'm willing to buy it one more time and see if it happens again. I'll update this review if the next one breaks, too.Update: Just before I ordered a new one I managed to fix the old one. Will update if it breaks again.

We use this every single day. It has 2 volume settings or you can just have it flash the light when the time is up. It’s easy to use and loud enough. If you’re needing a timer, this one is great

My almost 3yo daughter was having major separation anxiety at bedtime… not wanting us to leave until she fell asleep which could take over an hour and throwing tantrums if we did. It was exhausting. I started introducing this timer at naps (when it goes off naps/quiet time in your room is over). Love that there are spin options (I do high at naptime to help wake her up). Then introduced it at bedtime (on silent blinking setting - GREAT) and coming back in each time it goes off, so she can check it and know we will be back in. It worked like a charm! We set the first one about 5 min in, then reset it for 10, then 20 and by that she’s usually asleep. So much more peaceful l and everyone is happier compared to her crying begging to us to come back in every night and us feeling awful and exhausted. Now she knows we always come back when the timer goes off and it’s relieved her anxiety. Can also be used for playtime… great tool to have with toddlers!

This has a decent amount of functionality without being overly complicated. My 3.5-year-old even knows how to use it, which is both good and bad (I have to watch him to make sure he doesn’t change the time remaining). I like that there’s the option of lighting up instead of the alarm sound in case I want it to be quiet.

Für Kinder intuitiv bedienbar. Läuft einwandfrei. Kinder nutzen es mittlerweile teilweise eigenständig für sich selbst, um sich zu regulieren- entweder um die Bildschirmzeit einzustellen oder wenn sie sich bei den Hausaufgaben ein Ultimatum stellen, bis wann sie fertig sein wollen. Oder auch, wenn sie wütend sind und eine Auszeit brauchen.Wir alle haben großen Nutzen davon.

Me hubiera gustado q fuera mas grande. Lo uso en clase para marcar los tiempos de cada sesion. Es ideal, os alumnos ven claramente como la franja de tiempo va dismibuyendo a medid q se va consumiendo la sesion y les ayuda a agilizar las tareas de clase al percibir el tiempo del q disponen antes de cambiar de area.A mi tambien me facilita la distribucion de tareas demtro de cada sesion. Perfecto. La pega es el tamaño. Cabe en una mano. Se lo ví a una compalera años atras mas grande e imantado. En esta ocasion no lo encontré mas grande. La unica pega para mí, es esa, el tamaño.

This timer is amazing. We use it for our kid with ADHD. He is able to set times and breaks for himself while he studies for school. I think it's a great tool for staying on task. It has a light and the sound is loud.

Tolle Uhr!Nachdem wir in das Schulleben eingetaucht sind & es schwierig war am Morgen den Kindern zu erklären wann sie "fertig" sein müssen, habe ich mir dieses Uhr bestellt.Perfekt! Nun stellen wir ihn jeden morgen und die Kinder sehen wieviel Zeit sie noch haben & entwickeln immer mehr ein Zeitverständnis.Gerade für (Vor-)schulkinder super geeignet.Hält bei uns jetzt schon eine Weile trotz ständig drehen - auch vom jüngeren Geschwisterkind.Ich würde es immer wieder kaufen & weiterempfehlen & werde es zur nächsten Schuleinführung verschenken.
