This is amazing train for the price. It has blue tooth, track sounds , cars light up. Great train if you been looking for one for yourself or gift for someone.

Nice train set. Well worth it

Long ago I got over the fact that these Lionel Trains are no longer manufactured in America, maybe that will change in the future. Presently, though imported, the quality of Lionel Trains has seen improvements of late. As a long time collector of Lionel, both Post-War and Modern Era, this Santa Fe set is a beautiful addition to my collection. The set arrived in great shape albeit loose in an oversized box, and it was easily unpacked and set up within 15 minutes. Outside of a few couplers on the passenger cars having been shaken loose from a long journey, they were easily popped back into place and the train runs great. Good sound, good control, and very smooth running along the FasTrack of my layout. The price, below MRP, was a bargain and I look forward to proudly running this train. Even better, this review was entirely composed by me without the assistance of AI.

I love the design and construction of the product

Sharing stories about my grand dad always revolves around a train set , one in particular he liked the most. You guessed it the Santa fa . Grand daddy hated the war but did his duty , he spent many hour just watching it go round. When it came time he even shared it with my uncle and mom. This set was perfect for the bottom loop of 36 tracks, this is where my girls and my youngest son share in the fun of Santa fa , this classy uptown train proves you can have your cake and eat it too. The remote is easy enough for a 7 year old or a 47 year old watching with a bottle of red with his wife making up lies about where we bean .

I decided to upgrade from the battery operated model to fully electric. 1) I liked the HO size but could not find a model with coach that was electric that I liked so I settled for the O Guage. Note, the locomotive is heavy. This is pretty big for my under the tree village. 2) it took almost 2 hrs to connect the dots and get it running Apparently if it’s not properly on the track it won’t move or light up and the track charge light won’t come on either.. Coupling the carts was difficult as well. 3) it’s a bit loud so I won’t run it for more than 2hrs if that long. 4) I recommend getting extracts out the gate.I’m a female over 60 , I’m looking forward to building on it and see how grows by next Xmas.
