This was a very easy plug-in replacement for a friend's ailing and aging 1TB WD hard drive. It turned a slow 7-year-old laptop into one that feels more like a new one.I didn't search for anything fancy. I wanted a respected manufacturer and a good price. I found both in this SSD. Note: sometimes the P220 is actually a little cheaper than this P210 and it supposedly has better numbers in some particular or other. For my purposes, small differences like that don't matter. I'd say get whichever is cheapest that day.

I purchased this to upgrade an old HDD to an new SSD of larger size and speed to improve storage capacity and overall performance. After cloning the old drive to the new one, thr new SSD has been working great so far! Great storage and speed for the price comparatively. Would recommend and would purchase again.

I have owned three Patriot drives that have failed over the years. The previous did last longer than this one though. I purchased two of these P210's in May 2024 and only five months later one of them has already failed. The other looks like it may be on its way out. These two drives are in a mirror in a heavily ventilated TrueNAS server with the logs turned completely off. Which means, they see little to no use on a daily basis. They also never saw temps above 34°C according to the OS which I check regularly. I know these are inexpensive drives, but this is still no excuse. Patriot really does make some trash drives and I will not buy from them ever again.

I replaced my spinning hard drive which was corrupted and the install was easy. I was happy that the drive was well suited for my old desktop and now I have two equally efficient desktop computers. The delivery was a little delayed but it's worth one or two days extra.

Usually not a big fan of cheap SSDs but this one was pretty good for the price. Only the 128GB model but perfect for bringing computers back to life.

Beide oude laptops zijn met een nieuwe Windows 11 installatie en deze harddisks weer helemaal bij. Lekker snel opstarten en werken.
