Spelling You See Level D: Americana Instructor's Handbook

I really didn’t know what to expect when I ordered this besides what I saw in pictures or read in reviews. I am SO glad I ordered it! It’s an excellent program for teaching spelling and history at the same time. It’s very well thought out and easy to follow. My 9 year old son is really enjoying it as well. I love that he finds the writing passages interesting and is very engaged. I highly recommend Spelling You See to supplement any homeschool program. It makes spelling fun.

When I started homeschooling my son I did not know if he was just careless in his spelling or just did not know how to spell. I used another great spelling program but, his spelling was not improving to the extent I though it should. I mean a 5th grader should Know how to spell most of his everyday words. But he didn't. he made too many spelling mistakes. Then, I came across this program. We've been using it for about a year and the improvement is outstanding. Spelling is no longer a areal issue. Yes, he does sometimes makes mistakes but mostly due to his carelessness. I tell him to look at the word and he goes back and fixes it without having to look into a dictionary. That's when I know he knows how to spell it. He is just not being careful. I will continue to use this program.

I think what I enjoy most about this program is the ease of use in actually using with your student/child in a very basic non-time consuming way. It's not some huge overly directive teacher's manual either. (Sigh of relief) It's neither confusing nor do you have to pick and choose what to use in the book. (Double sigh of relief) It's a daily lesson sort of program already dilieniated for you, and easily used and understood daily by teachers and the students you use then with as well. Super pleased with this program as well as the teacher's manual to use along with it to instruct your student in an easily used and understood way!
