2 door JK roof rack
This new roof rack is built exceptionally sturdy. Really adds to the looks of the jeep. This fit the Jeep perfectly. They say it it's about a 2-hour installation job with a helper. The instructions were very clear and understandable. Being that I'm 71 and have one bad arm it took me 9 hours to install. I'm very pleased with the end results. I just purchased a 26 cubic foot cargo bag which will fit up there perfectly. This is a good product and I'd recommend it to anybody that needs more room to transport things in there two door jeep.

Pleasantly surprised.
From reading other reviews, I wasn't expecting much but I was happy to find that there are more pros here than cons.I bought this to help protect my JKs hard top while out wheeling. It does a surprisingly good job and has deflected some big limbs and even held up to a couple of sideways 'oopsies' against rocks. I added side panels available from a different company, as I like the look. Several companies sell this rack and one who sells 'body armor 4x4' offers side panels.I used the frame mount for the rear, as I didn't want to drill the body and it wouldn't work anyway in my case because I have armored fenders. The tubing is quite thick, the metric equivalent of standard 2" 0.120 wall DOM which is just a bit thinner at about 3mm - plenty thick. Standard overseas powder coating. I sprayed a fluid film inside all of the tubes as I assembled the rack, which may help a bit as the insides aren't coated. Hardware is adequate. I replaced the plastic knobs that secure the top cross-bars with regular Nylock nuts and bolts so they don't catch on things. The rack is HEAVY and won't help your center of gravity in the least. I'm not hardcore in the rocks anyway, so I'm not concerned. It would be plenty strong for a rooftop tent, heavy spare tire or whatever else you wanted to strap up there, but I'm not sure it would be as strong with the body-mount option in the back. Some people reported wind noise, I have a 50" light bar above the windshield and it breaks the wind up enough to prevent any of that. Some reported issues with creaking - I can see how it could creak if it wasn't tightened enough during assembly but mine's been on for several months and makes zero noise on the road. Off-road it will groan occasionally due to frame flex.My JK has XRC fenders and a gas nozzle just barely fits, but I have the technique down now and it isn't an issue. See picture...I would definitely buy this again. It's set up better than the brand name ones that are similar in my opinion.

Not too bad a rack for the price
I was trying to find a rack to go along with the roof tent I wanted to order without breaking the bank. Them Rhino Racks were wanting about $1500 for the setup I would need for the tent. This ended up being a third the price, and gave my jeep a more rugged look. It's pretty creaky when I drive down the road, but that's what happens when you put metal on metal. It's held my roof tent just fine, I made it to Yellowstone from Salt Lake City and back with no issues. The only suggestion I have for the sellers is where the pipe is welded together, there is no hole. I connected a 52" curved light bar directly to the rack with some roll cage brackets thinking I could hide my wiring easily with the pre-cut holes in the middle tube. I was hoping to slip the wiring into one of the holes, run it down the rack where it bolts into the A-frame, and drill a hole in the cap to continue the wiring under the cowel. Unfortunately, I didn't think to look into the tube before I put it together to make sure I could run the wiring this way. I ended up drilling a hole through the side of the pipe on the A-frame to run the wiring in there. Looks a little janky, but oh well. I know from a fabrication point that fit up and welding would be more difficult, not to mention lack of some structural integrity. But that's just a minor gripe of mine. The rack for the price is pretty good, I've had it on for about four months now and it's been solid.

Nervous
Package was massive and took a good while to unbox everything inside. It went together relatively easy and seems very sturdy while sitting still. I also added the matching basket which is held on with the worst hardware ive ever seen included with a product. Its loud with the soft top. No creaking but wind noise. And has a disturbing "jiggle" between 55 and 60 mph, Just in the rear. Seems like there is some sort of buffeting within that speed range. It shakes the jeep like there is a loose wheel but at every other speed is perfectly stable. Everything is TIGHT so not sure what the issue is. I have yet to put anything on it so I dont know what will happen when I do. Also its been only a few months and its rusting... But I can paint it.

Great product
Really great product had no issues with install. The pieces weren’t damaged and packaged nicely. Looks amazing better than I thought it would be.

Some creaking when off-roading
The product is very sturdy if installed correctly. The only thing is there are a lot of joints so there will be some creaking while off-roading other than that I love the product and it’s very solid.

Nice rack but...
Installed rack fairly easy. Rear 2 corner posts angles were off quite a bit. Contacted manufacture and supplier. Asked for replacement parts and was told by both places I would have to return the whole rack and reorder. This is just not possible. Now I'm stuck with a crooked rack that I've had to add bumpers to because it rubs against my hardtop. Would not buy again
